  • per sempre simple minds!!

  • Jim, I love your band and have done for years, but WTF is this??? It is dire. It's like a demo of a pub band, poor lyrics, awful riffs. Simple Minds, PLEASE don't turn into Status Quo.

  • Not nearly as good as anything off their last album - Thought they were back on track - A big disappoinment.

  • What a classic tune when performed!! Simple Minds forever!!

  • I don't dislike this but to be honest it's a bit bland, gimmicky and commercial. A far better new song from them is the warm and epic Broken Glass Park

  • nel mio cuore per sempre!!! miticiii

  • potential Eurovision 2012 winner...

  • Hmm. As a long time fan of Simple Minds, I have to say that I've been disappointed by their output ever since 'New Gold Dream', with the exception of 'Don't You Forget About Me', which remains the only single since 'New Gold Dream' which I care for. This song is okay, but it doesn't scream "Simple Minds" at me. I was hopeful they'd take a leaf out of Duran Duran's book and return to their 80's roots. We need a 'New Gold Dream 2011'....

  • simple minds rock - considering their success they have to be the most chilled out down to earth guys in showbusiness - long may they continue!!!

  • this is modern festival pleasing material, vertigo/elevation/sexy boots.Nervous audience material. no one cares if it means any dumm thing.....one day we'll return here....

  • The only band i still get excited about when i know there is new material out ,another great song reckon them synths will sound great live !

  • LOL makes me laugh, SM are a great band simple as that!! 35 years nuff said

u2 do the likes of elevation & vertigo which have obviously just been written for live tour purposes thousands buy & they chart, SM do a couple of songs just as filler for a greatest hits CD & get slated by some. Open arms, open air when thisopens the set at Dalby Forest i'm pretty sure the over use of syths & eurobeat will sound very good indeed. BTW Off to see Kings Of Leon next friday so not stuck in the 80's either.

  • yes, truly glaswegian... ha ha ha

  • People don't buy the records if you don't like it,don't attend to the gigs if you don't need to listen this music, and continue to live in the past.Eary days, eary gold, ngd, rock stadium etc..i will never get all these labels.

Oh Jim Kerr lived for over 10 years in Sicily but i don't hear any changes in his lovely Glaswegian accent.

  • fantastica....

  • it's no problem, they want to be this now. Not my band, possibly infected by the simplicity of younger musicians who care a lot less about poetry than we did back in those new wave days..they like to keep things simple now, as people don't go to festivals to hear anything meaningful no more..

  • The shameless ride on the Eurodisco Express continues. LOL (in a sad, disappointed way).

    EPIC FAIL!

  • Nashville meets Euro Beat... horrible...

  • Best SM song for a long long time .

  • Still got that American singing accent that started on Real Life in 1991? Terrible song, but I'll still be going to see them in the forest gigs for nostalgia purposes only

  • this band should carry a different name, the heart of their sound is in the 80's and they have invented that sound. There's nothing against continuation of that sound and lyricwise this must be the most childish thing they have done. Jim's lyrics along with Mick's chords used to be wealth, rich ^I have no idea what stopped their desire to be brilliant.

  • not sure about the overpower of the cynth in places....otherwise very good

  • Another great song from Simple Minds! How exciting it is to hear their new music....how exciting to hear ALL their music.....and just think...a tour!!!!! Wish I could go....LOVE THIS NEW SONG!!!!

  • good tune, just in time for the forest gigs coming up next week

  • not bad!

  • Another amazing track simple minds are the best

  • Soooo great!

  • bella , devo abituarmi a sentirla .....

  • will be a great gigopener..SM on uptempo!!

  • Great song!!!

  • Needs to listen again, but yeah,me happy!!!Now i gotta buy this new one!!!

  • Great track again !!! Hope to see them soon on stage !!!! Vivement les concerts !!!!

Bravo une nouvelle fois les MINDS !!!!!

  • My kind of tune i love it(sounds like the wonderful Sarah Brown in there too)

  • There mustuv bin suhin inda water those yesteryears but no band has been able to recreate their creativity like in dows dayz..so like DEF. U2.inxs.dep.police. Who ever.., it won't happen...but it sure did..

  • Sorry smokin disagree, might be a bit too rock and roll and not like the Minds of old, but it grows after a few listens. Anyway as with Duran Duran and The Human League, fans are never happy unless its retro.

  • oh dear..:-(
