This is true. One time my girlfriend and I went to a small village where karate is a favored pastime. We had an old man ( at least in his late 70's knock my girlfriend and me out. He taught us. It fairly simple. He said it's like controlling your body electrical frequencies that your brain send to move body part in a invisible electric field to manipulate others body. Let me assure you this, when you create a "chi ball," the air that is in it does not get hotter, and when you "throw it around" no invisible force knocks you backwards.
