  • Great song.

  • I want John Rich 2 win Celebrity Apprentice!!!

  • Oh geez!!! CRY ME A RIVER!!!!! Is this supposed to be a protest song? Give me a break!

  • Big Ol' Truck With Nothing In It:

    youtube.com/user/chuckwestband?feature=mhum#p/u/41/fhOIMFZY5HI

  • Thanks john us in detroit really understand what your singin bout. Had to join military to be able to support family because of how bad it was. I really want to come back but cant find a job worth a shit there. Oh and my whole ferndale family just about worked for one of the big 3 and now can not even get a dam job cuttin grass. Its a sad state of affairs and i hope we can bring it back and i can raise my family thre one day.

  • funny how it was the Republicans that Rich campaigned for that wanted to sh#t on Detroit and let it and all those millions of jobs die and it was Obama and the Democrats who saved Detroit by bailing them out and in the end making money off of them for taxpayers. That's what you get Rich when you follow Glenn Beck Ayn Rand bullshit analysis of the economy.

  • @dicklexic22 Been to Detroit lately, it is far from saved ? If the democrats had any intention of helping you or me, they would have helped Detroit the second Clinton was elected. Don't agree with Glenn Beck, but good song.

  • @acdc30450 it is a good song, i admit it and yeah maybe "saved" was too strong of the word but still the commitment to TRY and save Motor city jobs came more from the Democrats and the Republicans were the ones who wanted to let the US auto industry go under. And your also right about Clinton. He was a bigger deregulator and free trader, in some respects, than Ronald Reagan. Still, overall, the Democrats do more to oppose job exporting free trade policies. republicans cheerlead about em'

  • @dicklexic22 Out sourcing is a problem, but Motor City's problems began before that. It started in the late 70's when the Japanese car companies came into the American main stream, during the peak of the oil embargo. Japanese cars had much better fuel efficiency than American cars, had a much longer life spam, and were just better built in general. So the American public started buying Japanese cars at a rapid rate, and the demand for American cars fell, meaning fewer auto workers were needed.

  • @dicklexic22 Free trade can be bad, but you can not force jobs to stay here. Major changes have taken place between the glory days of the assembly line and today. For example, robots are now used to assemble parts that used to require a human to do it for money. Cars have also gotten more technologically advanced, creating a need for smart workers and not the guy with the lunch box who punches in at 9 and out at 5. You can not resist the changes of an evolving world, it is either adapt or die.

  • @acdc30450 post-revolution US government didn't simply adapt. We used protectionist trade policies to get a leg up on the more technologically advanced British manufacturing. Today, China hasn't adapted to some vague market-techno darwinism. Instead, they dominate us by protectionist trade policies via currency manipulation. So this whole idea that the market is self-regulating and mainly technologically driven is bogus. Politics have everything to do with the global economy.

  • @dicklexic22 Protectionist policies can be helpful some of the time, but harmful at other times. China dominates the US because the US keeps asking China for loans to buy Saudi oil and fund dubya's adventures in the middle east. China produces stuff for first world countries because they pay their workers pennies a day and have much lower standards of quality. Both countries only keep their promises when it benifits the rich of those two countries.

  • @akra1dernation I can tell you why people voted for Obama, man. Because Sarah Palin was the other option. lol.

  • @APizzaMyHeart That's how I feel. And another thing, people need to tell these Tea Party pinheads that everything in the world isn't so fucking cut and dry!!!

  • @RealTime88 No kidding. Hey lets complain about bailing out companies that effect the general public, and complain about the billion given to the auto industry and how it isn't enough.

The basic explanation? People forget to quickly- how did we get into this mess in the first place? The "conservative" approach to a 16 billion /month over seas catastrophe.

  • this song contradicts itself. He complain in the song about bailing out large companies.. in the mean time we did exactly that for the auto industries of detroit.

  • 11/02/2010 time to take the garbage out and hand obama his ass

  • obama is screwing this country, the unions that help get him to where he is today, obama just turns his back on the unions thats bull shit

  • Obama saved Detroit. Rich is a right wing nut, so he will never realize this.

  • Beyond parody. Satire is officially dead.

  • glen beck?

  • Detroit is a sh1thole why wouldnt you shut it down?

  • @ukstevey Hi.

  • @ukstevey Fuck you have you ever been to detroit.

  • @aaronabnet THANK YOU. there are good parts of Detroit, and muthafuckaz need to realize the reasons WHY the rest of the city has been failing, starting with our good for nothing government. for the people by the people? fuck no. not anymore.

  • @ukstevey you totally missed the point you slimy fuckin shit sucker. also FYI detroit is a shithole because there has been 50 years of democratic government in the city and caused the city to become almost completely state dependent. it may be shit now but it used to be a crown jewel in this nation and it's my home. you're welcome any time and you can SAY THAT TO MY FUCKIN FACE, watch what happens, bitch.

  • is this supose to be a good song

  • Glen Beck does not support unions. This song is about supporting Detriot. Why in the world is John Rich on this show? Glen hates Detroit.

  • Ain't this the truth!!!

  • look at the city and tell your self your happy with it cause if you do your just as bad as the problem

  • typical americans takinf credit for ww2.

  • @chanceie12 Well, I don't think any other allied force lost as many brave men as the US did. And it was the fire bombing of Tokyo and the atomic bombing that won the war in the Pacific. While I give the Russians credit for the fall of Berlin I believe that the US deserves most credit. The British hardly contributed to the outcome of both wars.

  • @HuntHawaii808 Uh... no. The USSR alone lost, at lowest estimates, over 8 million military men compared to the US's less than half million. If you want to talk total deaths including civilians and the Holocaust, you can add 2000 to the US' tally and another 16million to the USSR. Not just them either; plenty of the other Allied troops suffered more than we did. Now i love my country and I'm proud of our WWII contribution, but I don't see what that has to do with this video at all...

  • @LibbyKino Thank you! We Brits are certainly eternally grateful for the US contribution, but it is maddening when some Americans marginalis(z)e the very real cost of the other allies - UK, Russia, Australia, NZ, Canada, and - especially - the French. (Look up the French Resistance and Charles de Gaulle if you haven't heard of them.)

  • @HuntHawaii808 How dare you?! We fought both wars for two years, losing millions of soldiers, including teenagers when the adults were getting killed, before you even considered taking part. If it wasn't for us, both WWs would have been lost before the US got involved. Also, during the wars, mainland US was hardly touched. The UK got bombed to hell during the Blitz, killing hundreds of thousands. We were first on the frontline both times. How dare you trivialise our contributions and our losses?

  • @EvenflowBlack Not to mention that in both wars, America didn't come to the rescue; they joined because they had war declared on them, not the other way around. If it wasn't for the Battle of Britain, America wouldn't have even been able to fight the Nazi's. Coming into wars 2/3 years with fresh troops, when everyone else is exhausted, and then claiming to be the savior. Bunch of self-righteous pricks sometimes, and they wonder why they're not respected anymore.

  • @MKelly1919 They still did the right thing so don't bitch. Secondly, if the UK and France had not been such pussies by appeasing Hitler/Mussalini/Tojo for 7 years than the war would not have been as big because the Axis would have been prevented from building up their arsenals " Just like the US is trying to stop Iran from getting the bomb". Thirdly, it was only after the Soviet Union was invaded that the left got behind the war, before that they were vividly opposed to it, as they always are.

  • @acdc30450 Terribly sorry, but I don't think we were in the mood for total war just after one of the biggest economic depressions of modern times, not to mention our Empire was dissolving following WWI. Appeasement was the only option for a while, though I agree it went on for too long. How did we appease Tojo for seven years when he came into power in 1941? Your final statement is just utter bullshit as well, sorry. They didn't do the right thing. Hitler forced them to enter the war.

  • @MKelly1919 The British empire was disolving but it could still swat Germany like a fly on the wall in 1933. The treaty of versailles "even though it was un fair" made the country an easy target. Tojo may have came to power in 1941, but he was the main man long before that. The Japanese invaded Manchura in 1931, followed by main land China and numerous other countries a few years later. You failed misrabley at Hong Kong and if it were not for the US the entire region would be speaking Japanese.

  • @HuntHawaii808 We're still paying back the US the loans we needed to take out after WWII just to rebuild our country, not to mention WE were the ones who destroyed Hitler's Luftwaffe in the Battle of Britain. If we'd lost, you would've been next. British scientists cracked Hitler's Enigma code, enabling the Allies to co-ordinate battle plans against him, and we also destroyed their factories. It's this kind of arrogance that makes even your allies resent the US.

  • John Rich never ages! He is sexier now than he was when he was with Lonestar!

  • The guy who sings the song knows of what he sings of, and he decided to bring his message to Beck's show and Beck decided to have him. That should tell some of you critics that it's not all the R's fault. Mgmt at the Big Three made stupid business decisons and the UAW was just plain greedy. Both sides share the blame. To say that the unions care about the wkg man is not always true--just take a look at Detroit's abandoned nabes. In the end, the UAW did not look out for this wkg man's city.

  • What am I missing? When has Glen ever cared about anything being Made In the USA. We have been sold out to corporate America by both parties. We are now officially a plutocracy.

  • John, I love this song! Keep up the good work.

  • Wall street folk don't know NOTHING bout caloused hands... God Bless AMERICA!!! We need Him back ... screw.. PC america.. its killing us!!

  • Detroit might be the first major city for the Fed Gov to take control of. Seems I seen that in a movie.... Oh, yea, Robocop.....Sci-fi or future reality? Hmmmmm....

  • great song, looks like fox news and glen beck are trying to act like they are for the workin man they are not for unions and the workin man they are as anti-labor as the get and they extemely biased to the Repuplican party. Alabama also has some good ones.

  • Wow, thats smart. We need to put a big fence around scum like you, and keep YOU there!

  • jacques0711....big talk for such a small mind.......

I'd sure like to know what made you so pissed off........

Better watch out or your heroic libs'll remember you were in the military and think you're some kind of "homegrown terrorist" or something,......

  • what do u think our forefathers were? i would call them radicals, wouldnt you?

  • Amen

  • haha I guess those 6 years didnt do much for your mental health

  • Hate to break it to you jacques but this country was founded by REDNECKS who have had to bail your asses out time and time again. WE were here before you and will be here long after your politicians get voted out starting in 2010. Go find a welfare line to stand in.

  • fuck you bitch. haha sounds like you dont like america too much so you can get the fuck out. go to mexico or just drop dead for all i care. this aint your country. this country was built on blue collar working men and women. you need to get a history lesson bub. im a redneck and id love for you to come to my house and tell me to get out of this country. thatd make my day. i bet you dont even own a american flag. and yur comment barely makes sense BARELY MAKES SENSE see i can type in caps to

  • Asinine is one word.

I also see that you have some kind of strange fascination with "ass" -- perhaps you are trying to come out of the closet.

  • True, educated Americans ....

"any supporter is as illiterate of immature?" "All needs a reality check?"

Can you even put a sentence together?

God in heaven. I think it is obvious who is an illiterate backwards idiot!

  • Get it right firstblood redneck is one word not two.

  • what I dont get, is IF the UAW owns a part of GM why are they still shipping jobs to CHINA. Personally I think that woud break the UAW, what is the chapter president going to say when the plant closes im sorry but you were paying dues and now we are taking that money to ship your job over seas? Why not make it so jobs here in the US are more suitable, More jobs more dues paying members.

  • Firstblood that fuckin skinny president we have is shuting down all of the car industries.. because they all fell for being on those fuckin JOKE unions.. so when it all went down hill they cant back out now cause 90% of their money was in that industries.

  • ha ha yeah....and what, your a Blood and your so pro-detroit? then why not do somthing to atually help your city huh? if you ARE in a gang or whatever are SOOO pro detroit, then protest against this. and its not anti detroit, its anti barrack....and its redneck fi rs t bloo d.....

  • i dont care if u dont like country but u have to like this song

  • Never been a big John Rich fan, but this is a really great song. Thanks for putting up the video of it I really enjoyed it.

  • The rich rule this country and what they say goes as they have our politicians in there back pocket, all these bailouts are vreally happening to make the wealthy even more wealthy it's almost like giving yourself a bonus.

  • Fuck You Liberals and Obama lovers

  • and fuck you too! I learnt from father please forgive them.... they obviosly do not know what the fuck they are doing......

  • This isn't a question of liberal or conservative policies, this is the corporate takeover of America, and they've got both parties in their pockets.

  • This is a great song! I'm a NC country boy and my daddy works 12 hours a day for GE aircraft engines. He's been doin this for just bout 11 years and after havin survived cancer 3 times he stills works hard as hell to keep my family alive. That's why I'm a conservative. They believe in helpin out the ones who deserve it. If all you do is sit on your ass and get a welfare check and don't even try to get a job i don't think we should help your lazy ass out, period.

  • What republican has ever supported your "daddy's" union job? Unions shot themselves in the foot, but what republican has really helped the middle class?

  • @ForeverProgressive democrats care about the middle class? ... democrats care about what? The american people said no to the healthcare bill DEMOCRATS IGNORED THE AMERICAN PEOPLE nothing new.

  • @darensmiles4 This song is talking about shutting down Detriot, shutting down unions. Where does health care come into this equation, or even democrats? My comment was this "Republicans have never supported unions". Try and dispute that comment? We are plutocracy supported by both democrats and republicans. Americans don't support free trade, but every republican, but 2 or 3, keep pushing it down our throat. REPUBLICANS are ignoring the wishes of the AMERICAN PEOPLE. NOTHING NEW.

  • @ForeverProgressive If i remember correctly Clinton did the final push for free trade which opened up what we have now with china. And fk the unions how good are the unions these days honestly? Unions are ran as a business to make a profit filled with greed. How much do they help their people these days? Their foundations were good but thats long gone. Now they just keep people working who shouldn't be because their worthless for a good portion. Not all though but a good bit.

  • @darensmiles4 Democrats aren't the only ones who have ignored the American people. Bush and Cheney did the exact same thing whenever they wanted to do something and the American people disagreed. They went right ahead and did it anyway. In many ways there is almost no difference between the Republicans and Democrats these days.

  • @DextersLab13 most of the things you're speaking of still had to go through the house and senate. So it wasn't left completely up to bush to do those things that you speak of.

  • Yeah because Detroit hasn't recieved billions in bailouts either. And nobody in detroit gets paid way more than they're worth to do piss poor work? Give me a break! Go ahead and whine about the crooks on Wall St but Detroit is no different than Wall St. here. And whose pension has been cut in half? UAW pensions are insured by PBGC and other benefits will be paid thanks to the idiot judge screwing over the bondholders. This guy needs to educate himself before he writes his next stupid song.

  • Wouldn't we all like a bail out? How about teachers, police officers, and firefighters? Thank you John for bringing this song to life and reflecting the hypocrisy and unfairness that has been delivered to the "common men and women"

    today.

  • cool song

  • I Don't Care Much For J.Rich But, This Is A Good Song. My Respects To Him As A Writer He Took Real Life And Put It In A Song So For That I Give This Video And Song Five Stars And A Hell Yeah!!!! Tell It Like It Is.

  • GOD BLESS AMERICA

  • MISMANAGEMENT is an understatement. I hate FREE TRADE but who can blame a company who has all this shit to deal with instead of making cars. The misconception is that our quality is poor. Today our quality compares and often exceeds the foreign competitor. We need to keep our work here in the USA. The law makers need to make sure our companies are protected not constantly sued by a bunch of vultures.

  • lowdog stop making excuses for shitty ran companies. Its awful that americans are losing jobs due to poor management of these companies. But it is not a misconception that american cars have lacked in quality for years. I hope they change their plans instead of pushing out cars just to make money and make good quality cars in the future.

  • i agree amen

  • Blame to this countries ridiculous price for medical insurance; yet another fault of greedy lawyers. Let us not forget the company who pays a floor sweeper $120,000 a year to make sure the f..ing floor is clean while the machinery on the floor is broke and your tradesman who went to school for four years making half of the sweeper sits home, and the machine stays broken.

  • lowdog i have never heard of any floor sweeper making 120,000$ a year

also how is high medical insurance the fault of "greedy lawyers"

  • It takes longer at times to get a repair done when you are making sure everything in the world that could happen, does not! Safety is good, but let the employee practice common sense; I believe the majority of the employees have it. Blame to the lawyers who sue these companies for safety violations, the NAACP lawyers about quotas, the ACLU lawyers for sensitivity violations, and the government for unreal CAFÉ standards.

  • This is the way I see it as a worker at one of the Big 3 auto companies. The unions are too busy looking after useless workers who dont get off there ass to work when they should. There are so many more employees who care about their job. The union should not protect the ones who dont and wont work. Hey UAW WTF! Lets not forget OSHAs role in all this horse shit. They are too busy safety everything so that you can hardly do your job.

  • no it's the greedy government(democrates and republicans) who only wants to tax all of us to death until were down to nothing and i live in a hard working middle class family, the government to day doesn't give a shit who you are anymore all they are today is a bunch of money hungry selfish bastards, who want's to get rid of free America and turn it into a communist-like financial government

  • All of government is the problem. dont forget that DEMOCRATS have controlled the House and Senate since 2006, so they are as much a part of it as anybody. GREED is one of the seven deadly sins and this entire country wants more than their fair share, including Detroit and their labor unions. Everyone has lived beyond their means for a long time and now we are paying for it.

  • And Good ole Obama's keepin up with the trend, bailin em out left n right :) Welcome to ObamaLand!

  • God Bless america and screw the ACLU!

  • Also I listened to program with Dr David Suzuki, I think. He was explaining how the future of mankind was is peril mostly from the loss of top soil. How it is not possible to creare enough fast enough to save ourselves,or using anyother method to grow food.

  • Also I must add that G. Beck was against any measure to help the working man. He wanted the auto cos to go bankrupt only to force the working folks to accept less pay, pension, and healthcare. Whos side is he on?

  • Arent the bailouts really loans designed to save American jobs? Arent these loans being paid back with intrest? Is there a difference between spending, and investment? What party has consistantly supported the corp.and investor class, and against average workers?

  • well it wouldn't be a problem if that's how the companies actually used the bailout money like that but they use it all for personal bonuses, which never reach the average workers. So really they're putting millions of people out of work that can't afford it.

  • JP- The ceo of GM is gone! The ceo of Chrysler is Gone! Now if the plan goes accordingly ,the workers will actually own a piece of the company. What better incentive to work smart and produce a great product. I am a small buss.owner in the tri-state area.If this plan works it will save the area from further economic losses.Your right we cant afford any more job loss.

  • "Now if the plan goes accordingly.." How many times have i heard this before? Many, how many people lie for money, or self glory? Many again, why should we believe that this bailout will succeed in helping the everyday American more money by giving money to the big companies, who so often are known to screw the average American out of their hard, and now even harder, earned dollar? I am not looking for a fight, just answers.

  • I agree,I'm only saying there weren't many options. The US manufacturing base is important for many reasons.I read that 1 in 10 jobs are tied to the auto industry.Any effort to save that large a part of the economy is worthy.Remember these are American jobs, friends family, neighbors. This money the tax payers are putting up should be considered an investment, because we expect a return.I really hope that the management will be smarter and more forward looking than in the past.

  • I see what you're saying, but why send all this $ that's to help everyone to big industry/business and banks, what about the people who feed all this country;farmers?Sure everybody buys food, but they pay everybody else's prices;fuel, equipment, parts, fertilizers, seed, feed, etc. Food prices go up but most of that goes to the processors, transporting it,to the store its bought at,and so on,and little of the increase goes to the farmers,so where's their bailout? They need help too, don't we need them to?

  • I agree,We should support especially our family farms.I do that on a local level. I try to buy fresh from local farmers. The food is usually better anyway. How about NO INCOME TAX FOR ORGANIC FAMILY FARMS?

  • Thank you for supporting. However,i think it should be all FAMILY FARMS,not just organic ones.I do not entirely agree with "organic" food products. There is no advantage from it.Yes it can get the farmers more money, but it also means the consumer has to pay more money, which many people do not have at this point in time, for 'organic' food which has nothing better than 'normal' food. But i like your idea there.

  • twahs82 I like the organics, In my younger years, I did farm organic, small time, but I fed my family and gave away bags of beans and squash and such.I learned from an old timer. I dont think it was more expensive, and I enjoyed the synthetic chem free aspect.I dont like the round up method,or the bio eng. stuff.Just hard work and good horticulture. Good luck to you.

  • I have no problem with organic other than people paying more money for it believing that because a farmer used a pesticide on their crops that it is now in the produce or animal products, and in turn in them and will harm them in someway, when there is no true difference in the products. Its like someone saying their hybrid car that gets 30mpg highway is better the best in the world, while my plain old truck gets 30mpgHW; there's a difference at the base, but in the end has the same product

  • Well there is runoff to be concerned with. Increasingly the runoff of fertalizer is causing red tides.Where the nitrogen makes algae bloom in turn takes oxygen out of the water and kills marine life. I believe it caused a dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico that is like the size of Rhode Island!

  • That is a concern of many, and idiots dump junk all over the place that poisons and injures/kills animals, plants, and people, should we make a new breed of people that is idiot-resistant?..I think that would be awesome, but I don't think its too possible

  • Farmers were making money hand over fist a year ago in the ethanol/commodities booms. If they aren't making any money now it sure isn't because of lack of government help. They've been getting billions in government subsidies every year for decades.

  • Very few farmers do well (money wise) at what they do. Farmers keep your country moving as much as any other industry in the world if not more. Look at the food on your table or the clothes on your back, they came from the ground of a man who is out breaking his back for pennies on the dollar mainly because he enjoys it. Few farmers are in the business for money because farmers are by far under paid for what they do, without farmers you have nothing.

  • Amen, always said If you had a nice warm meal for dinner thank a farmer!!!

  • Agree

  • A better "investment" would be a bottle of Night Train for everyone in the country. Seriously, if you don't see the auto bailout as money down the toilet then I have to wonder what you're smoking.

  • Okay I'm confused as to what your actual opinion is? It's okay to bailout AIG and all them other low lives, but it's not okay to bailout the auto industry?!?! I currently reside in a state with the highest unemployment rate in the country, please tell my why this would be such a waste to bail the auto industry out? Don't get me wrong I believe that GM and other car companies go themselves into this, but when you're playing with peoples lives the government needs to do something.

  • What dont you understand? NONE OF THEM SHOULD HAVE BEEN BAILED OUT!

  • why do the american people have to pay for their mistakes?

it's not our fault, nor the government's job to do that.

all the government needs to do is get the hell out of our lives.

  • To most of the banks the bailout funds are loans, albeit at sweet terms to the banks. But you have got to be crazy if you think the government has a prayer of ever getting back the money they've dumped on the auto industry and AIG, let alone getting any interest or dividends out of the deal.

  • Right-wing populists are such hypocrites. One moment they're blathering about how banks and ceos are being bailed out with nothing for the working man, the next moment they're complaining about Obama turning America into a socialist country. That is why you guys need to lose a few more elections before this country can be on the right track.

  • I don't see how those things are mutually exclusive. The bailouts of the banks and CEOs is socialism - socialism for the rich. With the possible exception of the bankers, most true conservatives in this country are for lowly regulated capitalism where you succeed or fail due to your own efforts and can reap the rewards of your success and suffer the pain of your failures on your own without the government interfering. Most conservatives oppose bailing out anybody.

  • Um...one little fact that everyone seems to ignore... if the companies tank, all of those jobs that everyone so dearly complain about disappear. *poof* . So before you complain about it, perhaps you should read the top of your paychecks.

BTW The States are, and always have been, a socialist country. Case in point: Patriot Acts. They give you rights as long as they suit them.

  • The only thing that will keep the jobs in existance (besides perpetual government subsidy) is demand for the products. Demand for Detroit cars isn't going to increase anytime soon - google the msnbc article on the poor opinion gen Y (the next generation of car buyers) has of detroit's products. In my opinion its better to not throw good money after bad and instead support the industries that this country excels at or just keep the taxes low for everybody.

  • I agree, we should listen to a little guy named Adam Smith. He wrote that if companies cant make products that people want, they will fail, and this is good for the system.

Why are we going against hundred years of economic thought? If a company runs a business poorly and fail, why should a government step in and give them money to fail again?

  • Somebody who finally gets how it should work!

    Thank you brother!

  • This is hilarious for all the wrong reasons. Like the majority of Americans.

  • 44 grimace- I just saw that phoney huckelberry on hannitys show. he was defending torture. what a dedicated christian he is. he is a great example of what the problem is with the so called christian right. you can call yourself whatever you want but it dosent make it so.christ is a liberal socialist

  • Do you complain when Obama wants babies torn from the womb and left gasping in a sink to die?

  • i do...

  • Oh, be quiet. "Torture" is what our soldiers who get caught are getting. It's only fair we return fire. But Obama hasn't the balls to do so. Try using your brain, aminblues.

  • ILL BE VOTING FOR RON PAUL IN 2012

  • i am soo voting for sarah palin in 2012 to help us out of ths mess that obama is creating & making worse

and do u know what GMC stands 4 now government managed company

  • You said it best on Hannity a few minutes ago, "WE'RE PISSED!" Amen to you brother! xo

  • cool song

  • If aminblues & meritisde have no clue what they are saying. Then don't say it.

People are tired of BOTH (Repub. & Dem.) IDIOTS. That is what this song is about, we have to struggle and cut back alot, BUT the Government lives high on the hog. When will Government stop spending??? when will Government work for free???? when will the Government go back to working for me??

  • bush,clinton,bush jr,obama----they are all the same

  • I have to disagree, they are not all the same... Obama is a Socialist.. but I do agree they all lie.

  • I agree w/meritis, the lyrics dont support the Republikin position. Its kinda funny how nobody sees that.

Young pgr you can bet theRepubs are not on your side. They have caused this to happen. They do not support the best interest of working people, never have. They have always been for playing us against 3rd world labor, and enviro. regs. Their game has always been clear

  • if only you had a fucking clue! Then your comment would make some fucking sense.

  • hey lou fuck you hows that for rhyme ?

  • that rhyme would be no less ignorant than your post :)

what's clear to me, is that you're a liberal who's trying to spin this to get more dems in congress, and i doubt that helps.

  • You... are fucking stupid. Learn the English language, then learn to type, then take a fucking political course, and shut up.

  • well, argue the issues rather than personal attacks

  • I just did. Shut the fuck up and actually respond.

  • just like I thought , you dont know shit just another know nothing punk ass hole

  • Why did Mr. Rich support McCain then?

McCain wants GM to go to bankruptcy.

Just another ignorant fool from the country community.

  • The two party system in American Politics has been a joke the last 30 years- but on occasion a candidate comes along that shows a desire to go against the grain of any party and use common sense I am not suggesting McCain was quite the right man but during the past election he was the only one sharing ideas Obama was all show and no answers

Now this post is not about Obama or McCain it is simply about voting ones conscience and yes it is possible a candidate lets us down But he took a stand

  • i don't know about 30 years, but for 20, I could go with that. i've donated money to ONE political candidate in my life, I did it in 2008. If Mike Huckabee runs again in 2012, I'll donate again.

  • if and when GM goes to bankruptcy (yeah, they'll still most likely go bankrupt AFTER getting billions of our dollars) they can re-negotiate with the UAW, and restructure correctly and get back on their feet.

obama's strategy is to throw more money at failing projects, and cap executive pay as a 'show' while he's making his money, and helping bankrupt america.

  • people who lose their 4o1k should be getten money not these rich sons a bitches give an honest doller to an honest man! change my ass only change you can count on is in a cup

  • watin on that change, could use some. but if not and you just look out for the rich thanks people hounest people are getten shit on by those we suposed to bail out wheres the change for the middle and low class.

  • the music video is awesome i saw it on GAC

  • Both major parties are owned by special interests! Where I come from this is called being bought and paid for.

Campaign finance reform would be to forbid political donations from anyone but legal individual voters. Individuals should be allowed to give as much as they want to whomever they want. It should be required that it be made very public who donated to whom so everyone will know who supports who!

You can tell a lot from a person or politician by who their "$friends$" are!

  • that's funny i just told some one that today,

  • Awesome song John!!!! Its sad but it is sooo true. My town that was mostly GM CHRYSLER MANUFACTURING.. HAS LOST IT ALL !!!!

  • If this happens.. which it saddens me that this is happening because I own a GM.. where am I going to get my parts at now??? I LOVE MY GM!!! WOULDNT OWN ANYTHING ELSE

  • don't worry GM parts will still be made in Mexico

  • Thats good my parts will still be available. Thanks for replying back.

  • I live in the midwest & this is the reality I see when I look out my window or drive through town every damn day and the politicians and big wigs don't seem to care at all...amen for John Rich and others like him!

  • I also like this song because it is TRUE!!

The farmers are auctioning off land and the BIG WIGS get the bailout.

Why can't the Government work for free??

  • this song is right on! but seriously - a big hope in detroit is that stimulus money will go to fix things that have needed fixing for years. the cops and schools are underfunded, the roads are falling apart, the bridge going to belle isle is the most dangerous in the country. - all of this mostly due to gross underfunding courtesy of the mostly-republican state legislature and former gov engler, as well as the car companies who gave up on detroit years ago. most detroiters support obama.

  • all i can say to this song is AMEN!!!! i'm glad he wrote this

  • Oh my gosh this song is so true what he's talking about

  • The video to this song will be Musical Event of the Year winner next year and it outta be Song of the Year

  • GOT THIS CD!!!! =]
