It's sad that such a positive story has become yet another battleground over religious issues on the internet. It was said in the video that the man was taken to a veteran's hospital, did he have a past in the military that led to his unhappiness with is life? And what about the selflessness of the great Muhammad Ali whose first reaction to the situation was to help save a man's life? All these are important things we should be talking about, not bringing up the champ's religion on his birthday.

Also although it's not really my scene to be defending islam, it should be noted that there are fundamentalists and there are moderates. Moderates are far greater in number but they don't make good TV so you won't see too much of them in the news...it's the same with christianity and although fundamentalism in islam is a real problem I think it's unfair to judge the religion itself on the actions of people who have misinterpreted a peaceful religion to violence and hate.
