However, I feel for this patient having such side effects and even worse such an unsupportive husband!If he can't be there when she needs him most then maybe when she gets rid of the virus she ought to think of getting rid of him as well.

I think it is extremely important to educate husbands and partners and make them aware of how debilitating a woman Hep C patient's side-effects can be - and how unpredictable they can be in frequency and intensity. Treatment HAS to be viewed as a partnership, a joint contract.
