The Kongolese peoples and His cultures are the mother of all cultures .....To remember that The recent search found of Pharaons lives was into The Democratic republic of Kongo(Former Zaire) , ( AKONGO ) Kongo by means is God , Is where The Eden garden was, KONGO is the begining of Earth Lives . According what's the Bible indicated that The great worshippers came from the other part of Ethiopia , That's is The Kongolese worshippers .
@Loluk1305 I am half tanzanian and half congolese, but grew up and in tanzania (the country where swahili originates) and aksanti is a nice name but asante means thanks not aksanti, peace and love.
@quietatse As far as i know swahili is a mixture of arabic and local language and although it took its origin from Tanzania,it has traveled since and in each place it went it took a particular accent like in Uganda,Kenya,Rwanda...Congo and Asante's congolese accent is Aksanti and we say aksanti meaning thanks.don't forget English is from England but has another accent in America if you see the point i 'm making.Peace and love
@Loluk1305 Get a swahili dictionary or check online and hopefully that should put the matter to bed, swahili is a native language in Tanzania. It's not as commonly spoken in those countries you just mentioned as in Tanzania. I went to school in Kenya for eight years and i'm afraid their swahili isn't up to par and plus it's a mixture of swahili and English. Some countries don't speak it properly, i fail to see how that can be seen as an accent. Congolese do speak it well mind you. Peeace & love.

Merci beaucoup cmbabazi pour cette traduction.J´avais vraiment soif de savoir ce qu´elle raconte.C´est génial cette langue et surtout trés nostalgique.
Yes Mbilia is from Congo but she used to perform very often in Nairobi in the 80's and 90's as most Congolese. Lingala has a great following in East Africa. That's the only connection.
@9jest Hello there! I just wanna tell you that in the D.R.Congo there are 4 national languages(kikongo,Tshiluba,Swahili and lingala) so,anyone from Congo can speak those languages above and today in Congo Swahili has became an Official Language beside French...
The point is,I just wanna tell everybody there that you should not be surprise if you hear a Congolese speaking Swahili because it's 1 of our language and it's spoken by over 40% of our population overall
ah soeur mbilia bell, soki otalaka pe ba commentaire na youtube, teba ke oza danze koleka tout le musiciens congolais. po musique nde yango oyo na elengi parceque sa fait de chagrins.
What do you mean by "it's obvious"?? She speaks fluent Swahili... Congolese Kingwana dialect. Now what is fluent Swahili to you? Is it Kimvita, Kiamu or Kiunguja?
