Woah... This looks about 10x better than anything the Blizzard devs could come up with. It's going to be lame to look at a broken cataclysm world in the next expansion; this looks much better than anything out of cata or panda.

I find it hilarious that blizzard only hires devs with about 25 years experience and this guy comes up with something better.

This is simply amazing - the level of detail you've put into the entire world is unrivaled. Hell, if Blizzard didn't consider trying to hire you, they'd be missing out. From what you showed in the video, so much of it is quite beautiful. But a few questions: Is this simply a model edit? If not, did you add or remove any NPCS? Also, will we be seeing a private server using this world? I'd DEFINITELY play on a server tailored around the Reznik Era!

@OotHEWoW This is not a simple model edit, this is the most complex model edit ever released. I do not plan to make the server. Everybody can play on which server wants. The only thing I plan is that I will give the newer version with corrected bugs, etc.

@lh4l93 Model editing is a tricky thing. In a way, it IS and ISN'T banable at the same time.

You can change the skin of your model no problems, blizzard can't do anything about that. If you change the MODEL of your character however, so that you can go through holes and such you couldn't before, THEN it's ban-able.

@lynixai The fact of the matter is that you've accepted the EULA. I once asked a GM about this, and they can ban you for whatever reason they'd like. I asked if changing how my items appeared clientside (only on my character) was bannable, and he said yes.

I also asked on their support forums if it could result in a ban, they said that it COULD, however the chances of that happening was very low since it's not really affecting anyone but you.

@scientolofag this does work on mac as long as you have the 3.3.5a version. MPQ's are read by the game not by the OS itself. You do need the MacOS version of the game though.

@MirelAlex94 You DL the patch, put it in your wow data folder (client has to be 3.3.5a wotlk), then pick any private server on xtremetop100 that is running wotlk 3.3.5a, and then you can explore. However, it would be nice to have a server officially support this, so that it could spawn custom NPCs / bosses, because there are tons of new areas / new towns, etc in this custom expansion.
