Anything above a e6600 isn't worth in this day and age.
There are very few apps that can take advantage of more than 2 cores, and paying an extra $100 for the +.2GHz of a step above a E6600 is really stupid, considering you can just overclock it to 4GHz on stock cooling.
Processors are cheap thanks to intel, but what you do need to do is spend money on the video card. 8800 GTX or Ultra.
If i would get 1 dollar per each pixel in this vid, i would get 1 dollar
