  • dont that look like my mans mike myers? cause i dont know, he was just real, then it looks like a dummy, n my mans mike myers

  • EPIC MOVIE

  • WHERE CAN I FIND THOSE GLASSES?

  • @MrBlacklunar I think that they are gargoyle branded sunglasses

  • Just watching this makes me feel badass.

  • i need to get myself a pair of those Gargoyles!

  • la musica a partir de 2:52, maquina perfecta sin sentimientos

  • 240p, we meet again

  • i have the exact same sunglasses, and i wore them at night, only to crash

  • 4 people went blind when trying this at home.

  • @Rambo4President BWAHAHAHAHAHHA did you tryed that XD

  • Im guessing it rented that unit right it would explain the guns

  • This scene makes my eyes wet. No crying but it just feels so bad in my eyes to look at the Terminator cutting his eye without any pain reaction or anything :D

  • whats funny is how he checks to see if his hair is cool in the mirror.

even machines know what awesomeness looks like.

  • I like the fact that after all that he takes the time to check his hair before getting his rifles and heading out to hunt Sarah Connor.

  • When I first watched this as a kid I wondered a several things. How did he come about getting the hobby knife, and the hemostat forceps? Did he kill the previous owner of that room ( apartment) or did he just happen to be lucky to find it unoccupied? I sometimes imagine my own scenario about he came to have The room, knife, forceps, pliers, clean towel. I would wonder also if he killed anyone to get those things. Anyway, he is the terminator and has his ways. One of my favorite movies. : )

  • @4SCARECROWS If you read the book based on the film it has a part where he gets the room and tools.

  • @oktoberK Thanks! : )

  • @4SCARECROWS If your looking for it its the book writen by Bill Wisher.

  • @oktoberK Thank you for your help. : )

  • @4SCARECROWS Your very welcome.

  • gargoyle sunglasses (tumbs up) lol

  • ahaha look when he get this knife to get out eye there is no that to take it and when he before pick it it had that some knife on that

  • @KIckMasterfly u fuckin high brothah

  • 240p, we meet again.

  • question, if you were running from me, fearing for your life, I catch up to you, and shoot you in the head with my 12-gauge autoloader, would you care what I look like? lol

  • @zero2hero4910 it got burnt off along with some of his hair when he jumped through the fire onto the hood of Reese's car

  • 2:43 gotta look good for the kill

  • Man, whoever uses that sink next is in for one nasty shock.

  • wheres his eyebrows?

  • termitnators like in the mirror did any one tell you your handsome?

  • Thumbs up if the Flyers sent you here!

  • horror movie

  • Gross

  • @Mrvideosandgames : And still this stays better as cgi !

  • ahh this scene always makes me cringe, something cgi gore can't

  • whered arnold get that leather jacket?

  • how did they do it back then the eye part and the arm im curious

now it all done on computers

  • @007foppe Puppets.

  • It's not really Arnold's arm at any point of the open arm. Its all animatronics and latex.

There were at least three arm scenes a latex one for the cut, a close up scene with a box and animatronic for the surgery.

If you look close at the arm the biceps doesn't move which implies the whole arm is fake and the only the forearm and beyond is animatronic. Arnold probably has his arm hidden behind his back and a bunch of people is manipulating the arm next to him and the hand from under the table.

  • @007foppe Stan Winston was a fucking genius, that's how.

  • HOLLYWOOD EPIC FAIL WHEN THE BROUGHT IN THE DOLL SCENE OMG SO FAKE BUT THAT WAS THEN THEY COUDL HAVE DONE MUCH BETTER JOB IN THIS SCENE

  • You know when shit is serous when the glasses go on. awwww yeaaaa

  • 1:44 ahh

  • in the future, Obamacare dont even work!

  • hmmmm

i just got a cut on my arm

    ideas

  • I never used to get who's apartment he was in...was it Sarah's?

  • @Redfield67

I always thought it was just some run down hotel that he either snuck in or barged his way in.

  • @Incognito1986 Yes; according to the movie tie-in paperback, it's a flophouse, a 'no-tell-motel'--pay the cash & no questions asked

  • CGI should compliment a movie not dominate it like it does today

  • This scene disturbed me when I first watched it! (Mind you I was only 9 at the time)

  • a fake plastic face, you can tell by his non face expressions

  • that bust fucking scared me as child, reminded me of the poltergeist scene...

  • This movie is sooooooooooo perfect! Had I been around in 1984, I would've went to the movies to peep this joint-classic.

  • It's still surprisingly realistic...

  • in home surgery

  • 2:42 is the best part lol

  • @raphu604 hahahha...i love it how he fix his hair. Keeping up the appearance =)

  • As the terminator himself is a fake human, it's only proper that he should look ever so slightly fake.

  • i love how after everything he checks his hair lollllllll

  • I think of this scene whenever I put in and remove my contact lenses.

  • @andreww1212 LMAOOO sickkkk...and i can just picture you turning on the light the same way.

  • this was my favorite part as a kid...

  • "OMG It looks so fake!" Well, what did you expect from the fucking 80's?!?! It's either these 80% realistic non CGI effects or the 0% realistic effects made with the shitty CGI of the 80's. Your Choice.

  • @pivoteer971 They didn't use CGI to make this part. They actually made a bust of Arnold's head. No computer graphics here.

  • @dangerd00m please read my comment Thoroughly and then you can reply, It says "It's either THESE 80% realistic NON CGI effects or the 0% realistic effects made with the shitty CGI of the 80's..." by 0% realistic I mean they look fake. So for your safety and the others around you, please read properly

  • @pivoteer971

Look, wondergenius, you're the one who said this: " the shitty CGI of the 80's." They. Did. Not. Use. CGI. In. The. 80s. But please, keep trying to cover up your mistake.

  • @dangerd00m what about Tron, Looker, Star Trek II, The Last Star Fighter, and Labyrinth? they all used CGI in the 80's

  • @pivoteer971 Just search "flickr, star wars models, filming" and you'll have a better idea of what you're talking about. Also, the computer graphics used in Tron and The Last Starfighter are nothing like what's used in stuff like the Hulk and the Spiderman movies. Making an entire scene as computer graphics and adding stuff with computerized special effects is not the same thing. Not even close.

  • @dangerd00m

They did use CGI in the 80s, like in 1989's The Abyss, 1988's Willow, 1985's Young Sherlock Holmes, and 1982's Wrath of Kahn

  • @dangerd00m

Tron is noted as the first movie to use CGI primariy to create scenes. Prior to that CGI was limited to computer displays (Star Wars.)

Maybe you haven't seen Tron, but entire scenes were made up of CGI. Quibbling over "this isn't the same kind of CGI today" is stupid. Because the term is computer generated imagery. It does not dictate it has to be photorealistic, or simply adding something to an existing scene. So if you want to argue with movie history over "CGI", go ahead.

  • @Draknfyre Fine, if the 1980s Tron is the same thing to you as the space battle in Revenge of the Sith, then you win. In the meantime, don't let the following description concerning the making of Tron trip you up:

"Because the technology to combine computer animation and live action did not exist at the time, these sequences were intercut with the filmed characters."

So yeah, that's EXACTLY the same thing as something like George Lucas' modern Star Wars creations...

  • @dangerd00m And no one ever said the CGI of today is exactly the same as the CGI of 80's. They're both computer generated imagery, even if it is different. I honestly don't see what the fuck is your problem.

  • @dangerd00m

CGI is CGI. It still counts. No matter how progressed it is now, it's still CGI. That's like trying to argue that Henry Ford didn't produce the first cheap, wide-spread automobile simply because it didn't have a 300HP engine like today's cars do.

There is no exclusion on "First movie to use CGI" that's "Absolutely must have CGI interacting with a live-action character onscreen at the same time."

Hollywood credits Tron. So your opinion means shit.

  • @dangerd00m

Oh, hey, and as continuation of my previous comment, you don't seem to realize that some modern movies use completely CGI scenes, without live actors at all.

Star Wars: Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith have sequences which even the characters are purely CGI. So your comparision with Tron saying the scenes were purely CGI with no live actors means it's not the same is hilarious.

  • @dangerd00m You obviously have no idea what the acronym CGI covers. CGI was used in the 80's. Hell, it was even used in the 70's.

  • @NemesisTypeT Are you dense or do you not understand the difference between practical effects and the green screen/CG shit every special effects laden movie uses now? Or are you just being obtuse because you think using a computer to enhance a scene and actually create it is the same thing?

For fuck's sake, computers in the 70s weren't powerful enough to produce the kind of CG graphics I'm talking about, but please, keep beating this dead horse.

  • @dangerd00m So you have no idea what CGI even means?

  • @NemesisTypeT And you have no idea what semantics mean, either. So I guess we're even.

  • @dangerd00m Funny you should say that, as it seems you have the problem with semantics here.

  • @pivoteer971 well it was a Robot i'd expect it to be fake LOL

  • @pivoteer971 Its expected from the spoiled generation that has all this CGI crap fed to them. This was actually cutting edge stuff, this wasn't CGI either, it was animatronics (think Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.) In the 80's this technology was still new so the fact they had the guts to put it to use in a movie shows just how much balls movie makers had back then.

  • This isn't actually that bad considering he supposed to be a terminator machine anyway and this tops some of the cheap CGI effects you get these days like em lake placid 2 also come on 1984 what do people expect? It looks pretty dam good.

  • An enemy that does not sleep, fixes by himself, does not eat........excelent idea

  • One of my favorite scenes of this awesome movie

  • terminators best friend: liquid latex

  • @bateryman002 your best friend: your right hand

  • there just happened to randomly be a table in a motel with all kinds of medical tools lying around.

  • The grossest thing is that He pulled out his eye : o

  • instead of using bandages, he shoudl've covered up his arm wound with sunglasses

  • Fun fact: They were going to have Lance Henrickson be the terminator but his skinny frame didnt fit with a metal robot, so they chose Arnold.

  • @bandman232 That's not why they didn't go with Lance. The Terminator was *supposed* to be a small inconspicuous infiltration unit when Cameron wrote it, so Lance's size was perfect. This makes much more sense of course. The whole point of the T-800 is to blend in with the human resistance, not stand out.

But when Cameron begrudgingly met with Arnold to consider him for the part of Kyle Reese he was so visually impressive that he started imagining him in the role of the Terminator...

  • 4 people were friends of sarah conner.

  • terminator = badass

terminator 2 judgement day = super koo

termnator 3 = never existed to me

terminator etc... i never heard of those...

  • finally someone who actually cuts the eye for the key

  • 3:08 GARGOYLES?.

  • He squished his eye ball.

  • The music in the first movie was so suspenseful. Its got that ambiance to it that reminds you of machinery.

  • At least this looks better than cgi in my opinion. :)

  • He messed my eye good.

  • when i saw this my legs went numb but butt tingled and i almost fainted

  • what hotel was terminator at ? did he have breakfast?

  • i think this scene is what gave the film an 18 in uk

  • @TURBODORK2 WHAT IM IN THE UK I DEMAND TO SEE THE CASE

  • @MegaDragonking123 the dvd is different but if u find an old tape of the terminator it was 18

  • I love how you could very clearly tell it wasn't Arnold for several scenes.

  • The robotic head just looks out of place now. Its got weird movement! (pause "arnold move out of the way while we put the robot in place") the robot head is slighty more attractive!!! his head moves like keanu reaves.

  • @MrGuy1492 hhhh this was made in 1984 and this movie was far ahead of its time.

  • 2:16 animatronics i can tel the way his head moved.

  • @tsethbright huh?

  • @ndc18 on 2:16 look at his head moving its an animatronic.

  • @tsethbright yep, i noticed it the first time I saw this movie

  • When The Terminator is shown on TV you see Arnold leaning his head down toward the sink and pulling out the eyeball. Surgery on his arm however is edited out at times.

  • @ishotu747

At least you get see _some_ of it, in almost all german versions

it cuts after he picks up the scalpel

  • ok nerd question, how does the living tissue on a terminater stay oxygenated? there is no heart and very little blood, did skynet create some kind of oxygen diffusor in the endoskeliton? without nutrients and oxygen tissue dies off

  • @UniteForgetLeftRight Terminatorwiki > Living tissue. Hope that helps you understand it.

  • @UniteForgetLeftRight : Just have a little bit fantasy man ! It's a movie ! Think about that stuff in 2029 !

  • Isn`t ashame we all couldn`t just take care of all our health problems that easy and the hell with Doctors, hospitals and health insurance!

  • @MrGb4ever Hahahahahaha We could.... but it would be very painful.

  • It doesn't look bad, but i realy prefer the photorealistic quality CGI. Especially facial motion capture looks much better than any puppet head (for example the faces of Navi in Avatar)

  • 2:16 it's not facking human! i don't know the name for it, puppet? a toy? theres other scene when he browsing the book and a fly sitting on his head it moves and looks not real... i guess it was hard back at 1984 to make such makeup o.O

  • How did his hand got damaged anyway? Because of the car crash, punching through the windshield, the gunfight or something else?

  • the absolute best thing would be to combine this type stuff with cgi. use the best of both techquniques and you'd have something to write home about. (sorry bout spelling broke finger)

  • CGI sucks. This is ART!

  • @Saintofkillers85 Art by the legendary Stan Winston !!!

  • big boner for this movie

  • When he checks his hair that is so fucking human

  • for some reason this guy doesn't look like scnartzniogar sorry bout spelling LOL

  • @98zaffa hah. should have just said Arnold!

  • Terminator don't sleep.

  • Belo trabalho da Stan Winston School of Character Arts nota 10

  • at least he can't feel pain, unlike Isaac Clarke in Dead Space 2

  • @BMWM3GTRLOVER Lol o_O but clarke is human and this is a fucking machine!

  • 1:32 is the best.

  • best action SC-FI movie ever made ??

  • Cameron wanted the Terminator's skin to look fake in this scene in order to show how his flesh was just a human covering.

  • wow is it just me, but is it that at 2:12 to 2:38 that he looks fake??

  • @TheSpaceace73 Yes, I think they used a puppet for this scene

  • @TheSpaceace73 No shit, are they gonna take Arnie's face apart? This movie is 27yo

  • Arnie told 4 people to Go Fuck Themselves.

  • this here is the classic. no CGI need... nowadays they just go crazy with CGI

  • fuck it im cancelling my eye doctors appointment.

  • i think im gonna (throws up).... much better

  • god, my arm hurts now...

  • This scene was always bad ass too me.

  • My bad he's not wearin a wig but his hair is shorter at this point in the film.

  • lmfao while he's fixing his eye he touches his hair, guess the terminator has to look good too xD but maybe it's just to gix the appearance hmm..

  • @FBITORO Is this true ?

  • Arnold looks really weird at times, but I think its because of the makeup they had to do to make the eye-thing realistic.

    on another note...

THIS IS DAMNED PAINFUL TO WATCH! A KNIFE TO THE EYE, DAMN!! even if he IS a terminator, just... ugh! xD

  • @Blarghurface ah ah ah.. that's nothing, buddy. I once stuck a needle through my sister's eye. Well, she didn't even notice

  • @Blarghurface Well in this scene especially, Arnold's missing eyebrows and has a wig on -- result of jumping through the fire and onto the car so he def looks weird. Also the puppet head in this scene could've looked more realistic but James Cameron wanted Stan Winston to sculpt the head from scratch as opposed to using a mold of Arnold's head because he actually wanted it to look a little more artificial and creepy.

  • @theomen84 hasn't anyone noticed that in terminator 2 and 3, his hair is spiked up in the beggining of both movies and in the first movie his hair was long and wavy in the first couple of scenes?

  • @xDaNiEldrummerx

Duh of course is hair was long and wavy in the first then when he was on fire is hair got burnt

  • @MrDontstareitsrude you didn't get it! what I said was that in treminator TWO and THREE he has spiked hair since the beggining of the movie unlike terminator ONE he has long wavy hair in the beggining but it turns spiked because of the fire.

  • @MrDontstareitsrude And yet the rest of him was barely singed.

  • 3 people need repair

  • @NikaVerch fail. now suck my cock you faggot cunt.

  • @theboredman1 What's the matter you queer?

  • @NikaVerch i simply cannot stand the fucking idiots that say stupid shit about the people that dislike the videos, like you did. its annoying as fuck.

  • @theboredman1 Stfu u random spaammer u have no right to abuse other utubers like that so that means that u are just a mean idiotic fatass to other utubers and me LOL @ u! HAHAHAHAHAH u idiot

  • @theboredman1 132 people don't give a crap that it annoys you.

  • @FBITORO I really hope you're kidding.

  • the 1st time i saw this i wanted to puke.CHUNKS.

  • hell yeah!

  • once i saw this, the back of my leg felt weird

  • Imaging that this is your new gilrfriend making herself ready for some hot steamy lovemakin'.

  • Lol he kinda looked like Michael Myers

  • @attomal yeah and this movie is somehow similar to halloween a serial killer is on the loose stalking a defenseless young girl

  • I love how he checks his hair out after he is done with his eye.

  • @Pansons

probably he is programmed to be like a human(how he wears,looks...etc),so he checked his hair

  • "hey buddy you got a dead cat in there or what?"

    *selects from options*

    *execute*

( austrian accent ) FUCK YOU ASSHOLE!

  • Why does he have blood even though he's a robot?

  • @jediskunk67 because he is living tissue over metal endoskeleton.

  • @WhenWeWereKings100 yep. he evn says it to john in t2(my personal favorite)

  • because he has human flesh over the body.

  • The Terminator must be one of the smartest machines ever built.
