  • We can feel your love for the music.I also intend to buy one sometime next year.

  • Nice! Thank you. (TS)

  • Super!

  • It is a sound that makes music into a eternal soul, a deep feeling

my composition : Invencion Fantastica is inspired in this opus

  • love the bass notes

  • hey ! you play very beautiful , i like it very much, actually I'm a piano player and i have a yamaha p 155, but could you please tell me something? how do you record the video and audio at the same time? or if you do them separately, how do you mix them, in other words, how do you record this way if you could tell me, thank you so much

  • the tempo increased considerably from start to finish. Is this how its intended to be played?

  • Wonderfull my friend !

I am going to try this one as well now .. we will see how this will work out .. Romantic composers are not my specialbility haha so we will see

    you did wonderfull here !

  • @Darkboy2525 Did you know Chopin is my another favorite composer?

  • @SammyGirl903 I did.

  • @InsertName125 Cool :)

  • Wow, well done! Can you please tell me how you recorded this and also which stuff I need to buy for that=) I've got the same piano, but when I record using an usb-stick and transfering is to a mp3 file, the middle notes sound a bit weird, I can send you a video If you like, to make clear what I mean.

  • nice playing man really good, whats your opinion of the yamaha p155 does it have wooden keys and are they weighted keys.i was going to buy the yamaha cp5 but no built-in speakers.is it 128 note polythoney.

  • @paulallen34

Thanks. The keys are plastic I believe but they are weighted. It has 128 note polyphony.

  • very good but no perfect, It you want to simulate Chopin and transmitting the truth feelings, you have to put more emphasis in the sound

  • nice ,,,, i wish i knew where i could find the sheet music??

  • thanks for not playing it retardedly fast. now i can enjoy it.

  • A wonderful piece - Chopin, the master!

  • whenever i play this, my fngers gets lost because the chords are so big! i dont know if i have small hands or maybe its just because im still a beginner. lol.

  • @maaanny16:

Don't worry too much about it, mine do too. I had to practice it a lot before recording because I kept hesitating or forgetting notes in the chords or not getting my hands in the right place fast enough. I can't even play it now because it's been a few months and I've forgotten how, it takes me practice to play it again because the chords are huge and complicated. A lot of other pieces I can play again just by looking at the sheet music. This one is harder to read IMO. =P

  • Holy something your arms and hands are hairy!

  • @Midianite555

Hehe, I think it actually looks thicker on camera. No one in real-life ever comments on my arms or hands being hairy but on YouTube I've gotten about 15 comments saying the same thing you did.

Yeah they are hairy but on the video it looks almost like I'm wearing sleeves, it's not really that bad. I think the graininess adds to it. =P

  • Well done! I learned this song a while ago, but I can still play it :O, maybe I'll record it sometime.

I like the big X on your sheet music :D

  • Well yes you are really a good pianist ..

love the sounds .. ever heared him much faster .. no this is the perfect speed in my opinion

    Loveley !

  • Ehhh... You don't use your elbows enough. And your using all the wrong keys. Move your fingers over to the right more.

  • @brandon2006I:

LOL, for a second there I was going "What?" with what I'm sure was a funny look on my face, then I finally realized who this is. Thanks for the tips, I'll be sure to throw some elbow in if I ever record it again.

    Serenity now!!

  • Way to go. Congrats to your new P155. The sound is great, and you play great too!

  • Great playing! Nice recording too.

  • Really well played. Nice piano by the way :)

  • Wonderful playing! And great piano, too. One cannot deny the quality of Yamaha digitals.

  • That was beautiful, Another Schmoe. :) Your new piano is LIGHT-YEARS better than your last one. p.s. I just gotta ask... but why have you crossed out half the page of the sheet music???

  • @pianomonica

LOL I was wondering when someone would ask about that. =)

It's a one page arrangement of Prelude 20, I printed it out on the computer but the bottom section of the page is the beginning of Prelude 21, which I assume was meant to continue on the next page, but I only ever wanted to print out Prelude 20, so I just crossed it out to avoid confusion in my own mind. I only wanted Prelude 20 to be on that page hehe. I'm odd I know! Thanks for the compliment by the way. =D

  • Hey man, great performance! =)

I'd like to learn how to play this piece some day too.

Love your new piano ^^ Keep up the good work, I look forward to hear more stuff from you :)

  • Wonderful performance and such great sound! Now we can truly enjoy your talents with this terrific instrument! Congratulations on this very successful video! I am so happy for you! I look forward to many more! 5*

    Lorna

ps: I have the same experience as you do, making the mistakes in the last few measures. Aggravating, isn't it? I hope with time that I'll be more relaxed. But perhaps the tension adds something to our performances?

  • @musicamusement

Thanks Lorna!! Be sure to use the "Share" button and send me any new recordings you make as well, I often forget to check back on people's channels and this way I don't miss any. =)

About the mistakes, tension perhaps yes, but sometimes I totally lose it. I didn't have many problems with this recording but I was making an (audio only) recording of Chopin's Nocturne 9/2 the other day for an online recital on the Piano World forums and I just about had a stroke near the end. =(

  • Great job man! 5 stars from me! Love the new keyboard!

  • Really congratulations!!!

Let me listen to a lot more music.

  • Nice played and a awesome sound.

    **five*stars**

  • great performance!!! And your new piano sounds so great!!!! Wonderful video!!!!

  • Is it really you? that was very good!

  • @Georginito

Thanks! Yeah it's really me, I'm just on the opposite side of the room by the window now, next to my computer desk. =P

I've still got the old piano against the other wall hehe, but it's pretty useless now (except for putting stuff on top of!).

  • Happy for you, got this new instrument. It sounds powerful. It was just what you deserve.

I hope you soon redo Speak softly love.

(And how well I recognize the feeling having two bars left and then of course making the only mistake.)

  • Still the funny part was during all the attempts to make a performance without any mistake i was running out of battery:).

And i really get emoted when i record myself...many times i arrive near the end of the song and i am like..:"OH my Gosh i nearly done it yeeeee....and y mistake lol!!!

Soo i prefer a litium battery for longer attempts:)

  • @Trykky88:

LOL I know exactly what you mean! Luckily I didn't have any problems recording this piece (I had to start over a couple of times but never got flustered or nervous), but on certain pieces my heart just starts pounding out of my chest and my hands start shaking if I get near the very end without any mistakes, which of course only causes me to make a mistake, right near the end. =X

  • Great job! ...and the new piano sounds awesome. Keep 'em coming! :-)

  • You and your piano sound awesome!!!

    I have a P155 too and I love it as well :)

  • I love you performance! You got talent mate.

Glad you are happy with yamaha p155:).

    Btw you used audacity?

With what program did you sync video to audio?

Look further to see new performance:)

    5 stars^^

  • @Trykky88:

Thanks for the comment Trykky, glad you enjoyed it!

You are correct, I used Audacity to record the audio and save it as an .mp3 file, and I used Windows Movie Maker to sync the video and audio together, you have to manually line them up. Just be sure that before you save it, on the left side of the screen you need to click "Set Audio Levels", it's a tiny icon. Turn the slider all the way to the right, this cuts out all noise from your video camera and leaves only the .mp3 sound.

  • Thank you very much for the little guide....i will try as soon as my camrecorder arrives from ebay.I was first registering with a photocam and was draining my battery in 10 minutes,i would spend a fortune on buying batterie:))

  • @Trykky88:

Yeah, I go through batteries fairly quick but they do last a lot longer on an actual video camera. I use rechargeable batteries with a recharging station though, it costs a little bit more from the start but it'll save you a lot of money in the long run. I've been using the same pair of AA batteries for several years in various electronics, they still work! Whenever they run out of juice I just recharge them. Just something to think about, might save you some cash. =)
