There's a woman in the Algarve that does "non permanent" tattoos in the street, and her dreads have to go around her head like a turbin, and still go down her 1.70m height body, and trail behind another 50cm on the ground. She's got about 5m dreads, and I'm bloody serious.

Many of us wash our hair just as regularly as you do & for those of us whose dreads swing low "past our butt crack" we do the same thing as most people with very long hair -- tie it up or swing it around the front while doing such private hygiene stuff.
