Jeff Gordon is the man and i look up to Jeff. I want to use the tactics Jeff does when i race. He will get title 5 and when he does technically that would be 7 if the chase wasn't invented. GO GORDON
As a die hard Jeff Gordon fan I can't even explain how painful the past few years have been watching Gordon get dominated by Jimmy Johnson in ever single race. Until this past year I thought Gordon was still the better driver, but now there's no question, Jimmy Johnson is without question levels above Gordon. They've gone at it head to head for years and the results speak for themselves. It's hard to say but Jeff Gordon is #2.
Well, yes, in terms of performance, Jimmie is better than Gordon overall. But in terms of driving skills and driving talent, I still think Jeff is a better DRIVER than Johnson. Johnson just has a good car all the time so he never has to drive the car as hard as he possibly can. But Jeff knows how to drive a bad racecar to a decent position in the field. Hopefully 2010 will be the year that Jeff finally beats Johnson.
I agree, I'm not so sure its that Johnson is better than Gordon. I just think that the chemistry and adaptability of Chad Knaus is better than Steve Letarte. And Letarte is not bad by any means, but Jimmie and Chad are just unstoppable together.
Lets face it. Jeff should be going for 7 titles and Jimmie would only have 2 if not for the bogus chase system. Several points races with the old system were more exciting than last year's finish.
DITCH THE CHASE NASCAR! Crown a true champion. Do a chase champ if want to too.

You are absoulutely right and that's why I am such a huge fan of his. Even if he doesn't win as much as Johnson or Busch anymore, he is still the best overall because of the great man and father and person that he is today. You will never find him being nasty or rude to anyone - you can even try to look up videos, you won't find any, and he is always that perfect guy who races clean on the track. And now he is towards the very end of his career, but to me, he's still the best. 24 in 2010!
Well i think he'll win in 2010 a few times i see it in his eyes he wants it really bad they said he wanted it bad this year well he wants it even worst know. I think jeff will get one more championship and a few wins maybe 90 or so before hes done but thats only averaging 2 a year hopefully he'll get about 4 or 5 a year. Yeah he is a clean driver, never been rude to anyone even drunk jr fans calling him a fag that just pissed them off knowing they cant get to him too bad jr nation btw GROW UP!
Can you please upload Jimmie Johnson's speech or Rick Hendrick's? I don't understand how I cannot find any of Jimmie Johnson's speeches at the awards banquet, present and past, yet there are plenty of other drivers uploaded who obviously didn't win the championship.
I don't know if you've guys noticed, but this years banquet and shit is so much better than other years... and especially the introduction of the driver.. enough of the weird-sounding lady!
