I wish someone could post the original version of this, when she sang it on "Saturday Night Live" in 1981. I thought that was far better -- she sang it very straight-faced, which made it all the funnier, as opposed to the elaborate build-up she gives it here.

Oh I've been looking for this song ever since I saw a clip on youtube of her singing it on the Johnny Carson show. That clip is long gone and I'm so glad to be able to finally hear it again.

She is my most favorite entertainer of my lifetime and I am 73, oops I forgot Judy and Liza, and Sammy, so you can see where I am coming from. Well, I paid $75 for a box seat practically on the stage in 2007, the show was in March 2008. It was worth more than $75, come on you can't fill your tank with gas for that price. Run, Walk, take a boat but get to see this most fantastic show. She is funny and oh such a voice. The most talented of singers alive today!!!!

What most people forget is that she also did the 'cold open' on the show with the song 'Johhny, Keep Your Gun Clean'

i've seen her in concert twice. she was the sexiest thing i've ever laid eyes on, and by far the best show ive ever seen. she sang circles around all her songs, and was hysterical.

we did wait, but she never came out, photos inside i think. but i do have her autograph from gypsy stage door, but i didn't see that show. the concerts were $50, both times in FL, once in Panama City once in Tallahasse
