Ahhh the splendor of the cosmos....how lucky we are as a species to have a concept of our place in the universe. It is the rare gems in life like this video that make me feel so privileged to be living in an era of such discovery.
Your piece is beautiful. I first discovered your film through a link on the LA Times site; I watched it at least five times in a row. I was mesmerized, and I still am. I am also an editor, so when I read you animated your film from Zillons of stills my jaw dropped. The music is perfect, otherworldly. I would have never guessed it was 9n9. My favorite shot is the one where the viewer sees the sun from behind the planet. We see the sun from Saturn, not the Earth. Breathtaking.
Chris, you have done a fabulous job. I cannot stop watching this. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing this. Your choice of music is perfect, and your choice of images is superb.

One of the best parts of this, he just got the raw images off of the Cassini web page. Just as we all can....

Brilliant. Those words describes saturn perfectly. "Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known." it would be amazing to be there...
