  • That's awesome! My stupid budgie doesn't say nothing T_T

  • Oh god... I'm afraid that if I ever get a bird, I'll leave the TV on one day and come home to it making explosion noises and gunshots.

  • How rude I watch your video and the bird offers me the refreshment!

  • amazing!

  • post came up in reverse order, sorry lol!

If anyone wants and African Grey find a responsible breeder where the birds get lots of early cuddling, socialization, read BEFORE you get the bird (talk to owners, watch videos), prepare your home, etc. They can live very long lives (60 years or more), so make your wishes known and have a will, just as if you had a child.

    This is a real commitment.

WONDERFUL relationships with them, very rewarding!

    ok that's all lol

  • They are so intelligent but they need owners who do their homework and understand the responsibility or owning one of these magnificent birds. Health, social, diet... just as if you were becoming a parent. They need attention, love. They have emotional and intellectual needs.

In your video I can tell this bird is cared for and loved by the things the bird says, and the voice is the person who takes care if it. Very loving tone of voice.

"Wanna go outside?" "Wanna shower?" Love this video!!!

  • What is so amazing about these birds is they don't just say words, or imitate a sound, they mimic the exact same sound . *your* telephone, microwave, etc. Mine would call my son using *my voice*. He would come downstairs. "what mom". I would say I did not call you. The bird would call me in my son's voice.

She also had fun with the dog. "Jasper! c'mere Jasper!" in one of our voices, whistle. When the dog got there? "You silly dog! hahaha!"

    So many things.

  • He is one of the coolest birds I've ever seen..."Shower?" :L

  • too bad that he cannot fly, i have 2 and they can fly inside the house of course :D

  • He's so cute. Some of his whistles sound like bird impressions. Is he mimicking other types of birds there?

  • He is so cute! Thank you for sharing, mine passed away only a couple of months ago so am missing him terribly. Yes they do need a lot of love and attention but the reward is tenfold.

  • damn your grey is chubby

  • parrots do need a lot of care and attention,so dont get one if u cant dont do any of it,have known a couple of african greys, they are comical.but dont get one just for that..

  • He is so adorable! What is his name and I would love to have one. But I am raising 4 of my grandchildren and I would be afraid they would hurt one. Maybe when they are older. Thanks for sharing him with us.

  • Lol

  • Was he whistling the Andy Griffith Show theme?

  • a store is a good place for a parrot, allot of people to give him attention and (most of the time) it has other birds nearby, i know somebody with a parrot in my neighborhood, only sits in his cage all day in front of the window, screaming constantly.

  • my girlfriend has one of these and amazing as it is, YOU try getting woken up at seven am to alarm noises that isnt from your alarm..

  • This is sooo cuteee! I want one now lol. Are they hard to take care of?

  • @TheJakewuzhurr - Yes, they're expensive and delicate and they live a very very long time. Getting a parrot is a huge responsibility.

  • @TheJakewuzhurr - Yes, they're expensive and delicate and they live a very very long time. Getting a parrot is a huge responsibility.

  • Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! :D

  • These birds are so cute.

How much do they crap, though?

Can they be trained to not crap on their owners/all around the house?

    That's what I worry about...

  • @GrammarNazi1988 Birds defecate a lot. Unfortunately, they cannot be trained to control it because they don't have the muscles to hold it.

  • @Roxmagn I've read that too but I've also read that they can be toilet trained.

I kind of want one, but I don't want poop in my hair, on my clothes or all around the house.

  • @GrammarNazi1988

Most important is a good diet. But yes, they can be trained. It takes time, and very much determination, patience, and love. There are also little flight suits/birdie diapers. You can't expect them to wear these 24 hours a day though. Keep researching. There are forums on the internet, magazines, books.

  • Weew.... WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW! :D lmao that was so cool xD

  • oooohhhhhhhh now i need to wash my face hahaha 2:49

  • @diamond420au when you get your birds wings clipped ask them to not cut as much so they can flutter down...much better in my opinion...:)

  • weeeeeew

  • cute bird.....

  • I love parrots! Although I really hate to see it when people don 't treat them right (counts for every animal though). You guys seems to do is very well (in my eyes), his feathers are nice and glowing! :D My brothers parrot can't talk since that is normal for his kind. Although he tries it, and that is just adorible! Thanks for posting.

  • soo cute when he said "Wheeew!!" >w<

  • a wonderful music....a fantastic....amusing...never heared music

  • I love this bird!

  • teach him how to talk like a gangster, then ill be impresses, lmao, in that parrot voice3 say, ..... ill pop a cap in YOASS

  • whoa thats so cool

  • Pierre is so cute and obviously very happy. I had an African Grey for several years, and she was a huge talker just like yours. I really miss her. Thanks for sharing.

  • @diamond420au please don't keep spreading bad information.

you are, of course, correct--people don't notice wings have grown back and then it's VERY dangerous to have a flighted bird that isn't trained or experienced. i always advise train or re-clip

however, parrots aren't dumb. don't say they cannot learn. they learn just like cats-n-dogs (cats jump on hot stoves and dogs run into glass)

and LOTS of birds fly fine indoors np

    search video:

Parrots Flying In the House -- DUCK

  • @diamond420au i completely agree with you about taking clipped birds outside -- a disaster waiting to happen!! not only can they flap hard in a spook or catch some wind and fly anyway, but then without proper flight, they become a target for both ground and sky predators -- not to mention that they can't fly well enough to come down if they get up in a tree. however, there is no 'proper wing clip' that will solve all potential dangers--it's always too little or too much.

  • Its even got an accent as well, cute!

  • Why do parrots do this? Doeas any1 have any specific information about evolution or something? :D

  • awwww dhatz kute n funny

  • 1:50 OMG

  • Thats a beautiful parrot how much do they go for?

  • i dont know if he was saying something else and u put in the effects or if this is real.

  • @randomvideosxoxo Nope, this is 100% real. I made this video over a year ago and got so many requests for more that there's 2 new ones on my channel as of this week. Check em out! He says even more now.

  • @CaterpillarGiraffe .. Think Pierre will ever meet Einstein in TN ?

  • @randomvideosxoxo it is totally real. You should hear our African Grey he talks very clear too.

  • @hydeangel74 oh ok

  • That is amazing, such an intelligent bird!! Very beautiful!!

  • so funny at 1:18

  • I about peed my pants. I was watching this at 11pm in the basement and I woke everyone up by my laughing.

  • Parrot sneezes = writes *cough* WIN

  • @diamond420au we never had a bad home-flight-related injury. but we had one bird fall while playing with her toys and hit her head, and another launched himself (clipped), and split his keel open. our vet says he sees far more injuries from clipped birds than flighted birds

flight injuries can happen like athletes get hurt, and birds need to learn to fly like kids need to learn to walk. we don't stop kids because they crash

so, it's definitely not "safest" and "best" for the BIRD

  • @flychomperfly It's all opinion, I guess. Some people will have more bad experiences with clipped wings, others without clipped wings. Depends on the safeness of your home, the environment the bird is in, etc. Injuries are injuries.. They'll happen either way, whether it's the owner's fault or an honest accident. The owners of this parrot have a really open concept home so in the winter his wings are grown in to fly around at will. But keep in mind some people live in smaller homes with hazards.

  • @CaterpillarGiraffe i totaly agree with you. i think he's also clipped because he's in a store, which could be also dangerous. some people might be scared (its weird, but it happens) and try to hit it, in self defense or something. or it would fly out of the door. outside he probably wont survive. its all about the situation your in!

  • These birds always amaze me

  • Soooooooooooo Cute ^-^

  • EPIC SAUCE!

  • Weeeeeeoooooo

  • That bird is so talented!

  • OMFG SO CUTE BUT SCARY AT THE SAME TIME...VOICE DNT MATCH HES LOOKS LOL!!

  • so cute

  • I so hate to see a parrot with clipped wings.

  • @SteveLane They grow back...It is not a big deal. They're back right now actually. He is a very happy parrot, I can assure you.

  • @CaterpillarGiraffe He is a lovely bird. and I can see he is happy. I love his tree.

My Misty came to me clipped and it took a year to get his flights back. He had a few bad landings before and I never want to see that again.

  • @SteveLane Clipping the wings doesn't hurt them and it protects them from injuries such as flying into a window.

  • @tarantulady The only time in the seven years that I have had Misty that he has flown into windows or had hard landings was when he was clipped. If you show a flighted bird where the windows are and put marks of some kind on them they will quickly learn. A clipped bird has poor control and will have accidents that can cause severe injury.

Misty is caged only to sleep or on the rare occasions when he has to be without a human. He his very skilled flying and never has problems. Clipping kills!

  • @SteveLane idiot

  • @Razielts1 Moron

  • @SteveLane you can see clearly the bird is in excellent condition and is a stimulated bird..African Greys can talk very clearly!I heard one speak and make digital noises..theyr amazing creatures
