These autistic kids have a beautiful mind that naturally connects to music, unlike some other kids who get started really early and pushed by their parents - they can play very complicated pieces at perfect tone and rhythm but sort of soul-less like a robot. The greatest piano player plays with his heart, and you know one when you sees one. Thanks for sharing! You've done a fantastic job!!!
That's awesome. It's really interesting how he takes breaths out with each note, at least it's something I noticed in the first piece, maybe it's something to do with music and speech both being communicative.

Thank you..My son is 14 now.This is a hard work,spread over the last4 years..I am the teacher we are following step by step ,a bit ABA approach to build up his piano skills.He has fine motor,hand-eye coordination difficulties.Sometimes he plays by himself.Learning to play is not always easy but his achievement is huge for me and I believe he feels the same.

He, sory, that i don't write so much, but i want to say; i've got asperger, add, and dislexia. Doctors told i was dumb, but when i started piano, they said i was a "musical genius". Music made me normal again, realy, it made me like the rest of my class mates. keep trying, and don't give up!!!
This is lovely. Please tell me what he is doing - meaning - is this a special method? Who is the teacher? He must really feel a sense of achievement. Does he choose to play when the teacher is not around?
My son is autistic.he loves music.He has many difficulties such as hand-eye co-ordination,concentration,memory plus fine motor difficulties.All of them make learning and playing piano is a challenge.However things are getting much better now,so he is improving.When he has the skills,he enjoys more , so I am trying to build up his skills on the piano..His great enjoyment with his bike of course.

Hi!
Teaching my son to play piano is a rewarding experience for both of us.He is progressing,it is not an easy work but it worths it!
I wish many children with autism to have an opportunity to learn how to play a musical instrument or singing.Music is the power!
