Kyo is one of the few singers that actually sounds better live than in recording. His recorded voice sounds great, but there's something about the energy he has when singing live that's just magic.

Dir en grey will be my favorite forever. They seriously keep me living.

I Just bought this CD/DVD after seeing them for the first time live this past August (I've been listening to them for some years now however) I also purchased all of their CD's that were available on their US label ;) I never grow tired of listening to them. I wonder if you can tell me, there are a lot of tracks on the DVD that are untranslatable and the one between this and Glass Skin is wicked awesome yet I have no clue what it is, Do you? I would LOVE if others could view it here online..

@Winterx3 Merry (メリー), Tokyo Jihen/Shiina Ringo, Opeth, lloy, Maximum the Hormone, Mucc, Kagerou/The Studs, and Nine Inch Nails. While they don't necessarily sound similar, they share various qualities that fans of Dir en grey are sure to appreciate. Dir en grey dabbles in multiple genres, but much of their current work could be considered progressive rock. Don't listen to people simply saying J-Rock or Visual Kei. J-Rock merely refers to rock music from Japan, and VK is an aesthetic movement.

@KenSansei totally agree. I download a lot of music because well I just cant afford it. I have a deep love for music, and I have an addiction to wanting everything as soon as it comes out. Im proud to say I got a chance to purchase Uroboros =) I also got a T-Shirt. They've been my favorite band sense I discovered them in 2003. Truly cant be beat there diversity is just insane. As a guitarist, and a striving musician. I totally respect them, but I wish Kaoru would do a guitar solo again!
