I feel all alone. I wake up in the morning and I typed about this stuff, never reading a book, never doubting what I type. And people don't catch on, people don't see our connection to nature, this is as old as the 70s and people are still so misinformed, they are still left in the dark. I feel all alone.
@yodagreennutsack Hey my friend, you're not alone. though I understand why you may feel alone. I talk with , commune with, learn from and share wisdom with plants. they are wonderful beautiful beings. write me, let's chat. Rachel
The question is not weather the plant likes this music or that music. The planet is responding to the person doing the experiment. If they enjoy the music no matter what it is thats how the plant will react. Most scientists hate rock music thats why the results show plants hating it . Put a bunch of high school kids to perform the same experiment who love rock and you'll have positive results =o
Yes, it's true. Plants don't like harsh rock music. When it's played to them, they bend sharply away from the source. Over a long time, it can kill them. But plants do like classical, soothing music and, perhaps surprisingly, jazz.
@vibrantenergy I knew that! Birds, too respond to music - they like classical (especially chamber music), and some reggae, but they LOVE jazz. I think they are amazed by the wind instuments like saxophones and flutes...
And plants, they repond heartily to ANY kind of positive attention. Imagine if people were like that?? ;>)
Man that intro would be wicked in a DnB track!

In Search Of was a great show-- I used to love this program!
Leonard Nimoy makes a great commentator in the series.

This is bullshit. I've seen the same experiment done on some documentary channel and plants grew much better while listening to heavy metal.

is that true? i could imagine that powerful metal / hardcore with alot of energy could also give them bursts of energy.
maybe it's the same with human, that different plants react to different kinds of music
