Sorry for the upcoming call of duty reference, but this battle from where they started the attack to where they took cover at first is IDENTICAL to Carentan map from call of duty 2. Even the lettering of cafe de normandie (this was several years ago) and yes I am not some cod fan boy comparing everything to cod but I did notice the similarity here. Look up pictures for yourself if you have doubts. Oh and people need to get it right. Nazi was a political party. Not all Germans were nazis.

Very few were really opposed to them. It wasn't until the defeat at Stalingrad and later on, Kursk, followed by intensified RAF and USAAF strategic bombing when public and military support for the Nazi regime dropped significantly.

Some of them DID help in the eradication of Jews in german territory, but your average soldier on the front lines at Eindhoven (I probably spelled that wrong). Its really the case in any war. The soldiers of the country will probably support the leaders until they do something to destroy that pride.

Sure, when you put it onto film, its going to be dramatized, but Ambrose does a fairly good job at staying objective using historical and eye witness accounts to form a realistic account of these battles.

call of duty: united offensive, they did these band of brothers maps so well, almost to perfection. now that i a watching the mini series almost 7 years later, it brings up my appreciation for attention to detail that almost no has anymore.
