  • hairy beast. =)

  • Good to see that he has perspective.

  • Last night on the Daily Show they talked about a reunion with all of the original cast when Steve Carell was on the show. Lets hope it happens!

  • He's amazing. When he talks.. people quiet down. And they really listen.. No-one would ever interrupt him!

  • Does Jon have any other out-of-character-shirt?

  • Somewhere, Craig Kilborn is slowly drinking himself to death....

  • Jon thinks he's a clown that dances around for half an hour, but he's more important than he can imagine.

  • Why did you censor him? It's the internet!!!

  • jon is so nice on-air, but when he's off-air he's a fucking badass

  • @akmaldanish I believe this interview was from or concerning the Colbert/Carrell days. Aasif Mandvi was barely born back then ;)

  • I have a very very small lawn... I have no lawn.;

  • Jon Stewart dosn't need more money. His net worth is around $100 millon. I hope he's not ending up like Letterman. Doing the same uninspired stuff over and over again.

  • @dustbowl193139 I don't really think he's close to be doing uninspired stuff, because he still cracks me up. The Glenn Beck episode was epic. But, he has veered more towards (and is coming dangerously close) humorous political commentary close to Olbermann and Maddow and further from what he was in the beginning. As long as he doesn't cross that line, he'll be fine.

  • @willisnomiko <_ I do agree.. he is tinkering on that political pundit line.

  • I'll never forget the monologue he did after 9/11. He said that he used to see the WTC from his apartment window but after they were destroyed he could see the Statue of Liberty. And it wasn't in a schmucky way, it was with tears in his eyes. His attempt to make a hopeful statement during that bleak time, especially when he too was in terrible agony, was such a profoundly humanizing moment. It cemented my loyalty to the show beyond all the amazing humor. He's a real class act.

  • wow look at jons arms he looks like a chimp

  • He is so damn funny and intelligent. SEXY is what I'm trying to say

  • Jon stewart is so so intelligent, ...charismatic, funny, charming ,utterly intelligent quick wit...He should run for President of USA. .. The country could surely benefit from such a person ! I can listen to him forver.............

  • have you ever been offered a ton of money......on WEED?

  • Stephen Colbert talks about the secretive Bilderberg group on the air! Balls of steel. watch?v=WyhCtbAuHbk

  • @TrutherD1 fag

  • @greatamerican1776 Takes one to know one. :P

  • @greatamerican1776 I take it your username is supposed to be ironic.

  • Probably the smartest person on US television

  • I would vote him for president.. if he'd run.. and if I lived in America...

  • ya i would vote for him too.i mean america is already in the shit hole,i dont see how it can get any worst...so why not? (being serious)

  • @Cryptlord91 yeah, my point exactly. it's fucked.

  • @Folkmann They already made that movie with Robbin Williams. It was terrible needless to say...

  • @Folkmann Sane, intelligent, honest people do not run for President. That is why we continually have unqualified people running for the office. Politics is run by corruption, lobbyists, and people who bicker and fight just to stonewall anything positive that is trying to be accomplished.

  • Prescient stuff.

"None of this stuff is big shit, is all I'm saying."

By the way, Byron Allen hosts a comedy roundtable with B-rate comedians on CBS at about 2:00 a.m.

  • i think sarcasm is an ode to ones intelligence. lol

  • that was actually a pretty thoughtful answer

  • Why would he ever move on and why?!! This is what he was born to do, it's what his stand-up act has always been, he's a political comedian like Bill Maher!! He should stay there for 30 years and then retire!

  • Love the Vegas comment,

    ....and sadly so true.

  • Hes very sarcastic in his humor, Jon is. Hes a very straight faced, sarcastic person.

I grew up in a place (Alberta, Western Canada) where everyone is sort of like that.

But no, not every jew is like that. I bet some are. :P

  • Canada in general is very sarcastic, especially western Canada

  • @Zwartekaka Hopefully! So marry one! ^__^

Jews are very sexy like that.

  • If he leaves I don't think there is anyone else on this planet that can do the show the same way he does and I can't imagine him doing any other show it'll just remind people of his old show and it won't be as funny. I for one hope he doesn't leave because there is barely anything to watch these days and although the Colbert report is just as funny you kinda need both to make your day.

  • it's like he said in the vid..creatively, comedy central doesnt even question their content. i'm not sure he would be *allowed* to do the same show with the same content on any other network.

  • Jon was being dead serious and all the ignorants were cackling like jackals.

  • he was serious but he made you think. i guess his humor made what he was saying less of a lecture and i would rather him do that than to call me stupid idiot with no life

  • I think it's part of his style. I'm sure he's laughing at them on the inside.

  • or nambla

  • Guys, seriously? Don't bleep out words. That's childish.

  • Sometimes it's funnier that way.

  • when was this interview?

  • Where can I buy this stuff?

  • Does any one know where I can find the full panel discussion? I tried their web site but with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

  • I don't think the full seminar is available on iTunes, but there might be more clips on Hulu.

  • Who's Byron Allen?

  • He's a non-threatening Black man who keeps getting the chance to produce and star in THE WORST SHOWS IN THE HISTORY OF TELEVISION!!!!!!!! I'm surprised you haven't heard of him.

  • he's a comedian and he has a show where he gives up and coming comedians a platform

  • If you're happy where you're at, why leave? It's too much of a 'fancy' these days for every 'band' to do a 'solo project'. Do what YOU DO.

  • "When's Byron Allen gonna fly a plane into a building?" I've been wondering that very thing for years

  • woa..jons alot different on the show.

  • did you notice that stephen colbert was there....they were both senior correspondants

  • he sorta cleans up his act a bit i guess. he seems more new yorkey here lol

  • @iampetz when you're putting out the energy he does on a 4 night a week show, you'd be whacked out in real life too...

  • Jon's great!

  • lol

  • lawl i think he was talking about the spammer not the video

  • Jon Stewart is perhaps the only man I've ever seen who actually "gets" that there's more to the world than most are even minimally aware of. Very, very impressive.

  • @VictimOfBoredom Exactly man ...right to the point

  • @VictimOfBoredom

O_o Well, theres a lot more of them out there

  • @VictimOfBoredom marijuana my friend. merely the consumption of marijuana and what it does for free thinking

  • i agree.. i like the daily show but whatever happens happens!! moving on can sometimes be a good thing. i like jon stewart! he is most definitely a silly guy!! but like he said, whatever happens happens!

  • Honestly I don't care as long as COLBERT NATION STAYS!!!
