  • belle leçon

  • if you don't know the song it's so confusing and have no idea what the tone or melody of the song you emphasized..that is why i must hear the original song first before i continued watching your every video..but its great jazz music...its hard to follow specially for a newbie like me starting to play jazz cos i thought this is a tutorial video right..i'd noticed your every video and your not concentrating in the melody of the songs.. but thanks to all the video its great and very inspiring...

  • beautiful style

  • This reminds me of taking stride piano lessons in 1942. I want everybody to play like this, I love ya man!!!!

  • Thanks for an enjoyable lesson.

  • HABRIO MIS OJOS ESTE VIDEO, GRASIAS!

  • thanks. it helped a lot!

  • this is an excelent video. good job

  • One of the best music i'd ever hair.

  • wow! nice articulation!

  • whats this programm called

  • Bravo! Great job on one of my favorite songs.

  • Excellent. But far too much info for mere mortals.

  • Great improv! I love playing along on my bass! And I am learning a lot from your solos.

    Thanks!

  • tres belle leçon de jazz.des arrangements de grandes qualites

  • Very nice.......

  • I LOVE this song! Thank you! Diana Krall and Norah Jones have gotten me interested again in learning how to play piano, specifically jazz piano. I was a lapsed student of the pianny back in the day. Time to remedy that!

  • I wish I could post a picture of the huge grin I have on my face now ^______^

Such delightful playing and valuable information. I love the light jumpy feel here. Superb Doug

  • I love you man, you don't know how much this will help my life in a good way, I really appreciate you putting this stuff out here available for free.

  • Notes are kind of small. :(

  • From this and the two past ones, it's as if the "light bulb" went on. I'm dependent on sheet music and listening repeatedly. This combination of illustrating notation, along with keyboard and annotations was a breakthrough for me. Always done some improv when adding fill or what came naturally, or when accompanying a vocalist.

  • It's me again, because of the limit of what can be said in comments. This technique is exactly what I've been hoping to find. You don't stop every 15 seconds to explain, nor go too fast to absorb it all. Best instruction, with added enjoyment of hearing you play. Thanks.

  • wow, another great vid!

  • It's looking good. None of the commercial instruction courses are as good as this. One an even learn to sight read by following your score and keyboard images while listening to a superior model. You should consider marketing packages of instruction on CD. I would buy a packaged course like this for my grandchildren who are showing interest in keyboard and jazz. These would also be useful for high school and college personal instruction. Your years of teaching is very present.

  • Thank you so much for doing this great work! It is a uniquely useful resource.
