  • I must have missed this one earlier, Suze. What a great vid. I grew up in the rural South so I can relate. I agree with everything this vid is and song is trying to say. Thanks for putting it together. -Ron

  • @RHopenOtherSides Thank you for leaving such a positive, personal comment. It's a way of life long gone, I fear. It was my heritage and will always be where my heart returns for solace. Suze

  • wow what for a good tune..hear it the first time! cool vid

  • Hi Suze. Very good vid... obviously some real thought gone into it. - Bit odd to hear Willie doin reggae, but he redeems himself towards the end!!

  • @useryug Hi Barry, always great to hear from you! Willie Nelson has a whole record of reggae. Can't remember when it was published, but it certainly is a different sound for him. I always think of him in terms of a Texas cowboy. You still on the road? Still having fun? You musicians lead a gypsy life. Suze

  • @suuzzee5 - Always sounds the Texas cowboy from here...

Yup, 5 gigs last week... We never go more than 100 miles from home, so we ain't real gypsies... always home to bed after gigs, bunch of oldies that we are!

I'll have to ask around 'bout Willie's reggae offering.

  • Great vid Suuzzee....Come from a great farmimg area...seeing less and less which is a shame...nothing more beautiful than a brown tilled field in the spring, shining in the sun...thanks MyFriend for sharing

  • @reliablebow Thanks so much Michael. I always love hearing from you and getting your take on things. Those newly tilled fields sure are something to behold! I used to walk behind the plow and look for arrowheads and quartz crystals when I was a kid.

  • @suuzzee5 Wow!..Love Your story about looking for arrowheads....My Grandfather would come in after walking in the corn fields along the river flats and usally have one or two...amazing life ain't it? Keep on walkin' in the free world:) Say hey to the bears....

  • @reliablebow Your comments and replies and music and lyrics and such, they always inspire. Bears waking up hungry and cranky, Michael...

  • a really excellent video suze

  • @bigeeezy Thanks bunches! Always great to hear from you. Suze

  • Nice one never heard Willie Nelson doing reggae before. I do believe that we should encourage locally grown produce and support our farmers to do that. There is far to much of a cabon footprint on our food these days with food being brought in from countries where big western organisations can buy land cheap and exploit the people who live there. Thanks for posting this Suze your slide show was excellent.

    All the best

    Dave

  • @davemorag1 Hi Dave, Thanks for leaving such a thoughtful comment. Willie Nelson actually has out a whole album of reggae music but I'm not sure what year that was published. As for supporting our farmers, yes, I agree with all you said above. Sad times in which we live! Thanks again ... Suze

  • Love it!!

    Thumbs Up!

  • @MadBadVoodo Many thanks!

  • @rhopen Thank you, Ron. Always a pleasure to hear from you. Suze

  • Thank you Suze for posting this vid. I'm proud to say my father-in-law, who is 86 years old, is still working with family farmers as a consultant to help keep them solvent. All the best from the Upper Mid-West. ~ Mark

  • @manriq47 Hi Mark, that is wonderful news about your father-in-law. He has made and continues to make a true contribution to American life. Thanks so much for your heartfelt comment. Suze

  • Some really good vintage footage here of our agricultural past. I grew up in the central valley of California and worked in the tomato, cotton, and cantaloupe fields when i was a teenager. This video means a lot to me.

  • Love the positive message in this Suze...The video is wonderful and it goes so perfect with the song!!! popping it in the fav's...Glad that The WNPRI is bringing us together once more:) Big Thumbs Up!!!

  • @Cameragirl803 Thanks so much, low sis. Isn't this an uplifting song?! Am thrilled that WNPRI is promoting new music and is active in the community again. Liz is just "the best" and she always manages to uplift and unite us.

  • @suuzzee5 I agree Suze!! Liz really did a great job of uniting us with Peaceful Solution..and now hoping.. Lend a Hand to the Farmer...does the same thing as well:) Helps get people thinking!! Have a wonderful weekend my friend;)
