Our one big mistake was to leave the politics to politicians who went through the motions that changed not a thing. On the surface, the facade said we had civil rights & that we could all vote. Meanwhile behind closed doors the war machine continued to grow with @ least 1 war every 10 years. In the interests of National Security. Thinking the job done, most went about raising families & working jobs & becoming consumers.
