It works, but not very responsive. You need something that can hold moisture directly at the screen such as cotton or sponge materials. Youtube the hindu guy's tutorial using a q-tip and aluminum foil. Best and easiest to make stylus yet. And easiest to customize it to your feel liking. You can even stick it into an empty Bic type pen shell. But you need to keep the q-tip moist, just make sure you squeeze out all the excess water before use. It only needs to be slightly moist like your fingers.

People who ask why use a stylus!!!! The main reason is probably for sketchbook app for artists to use it incase Photoshop didn't work or something like that (in this case me) so when you draw something your finger doesn't get in the way to see the thin line your drawing!!! Stupids....

This WILL BREAK YOUR IPOD!!! the screen will lose its sense of touch if you use this!!! If you ever fealt foil on your teeth the amount of electrons increases while passing through the tin foil. Your iPod can overheat or the touch screen will stop working !!!

Actually you don't really need to cover the whole pencil with foil. You can wrap like one quarter of it and it still works reason being that as long as your finger touches the aluminum foil, the stylus can still work because electrons can still travel along and into the ipod touch.
