exorcist meets orgasm.....If you dont get chills...you are not human....There are NO ARTISTS anymore.....American idol generation of "music" can pound it up their text voted ass
Look I saw them in the 70s in London and they were just Great. and I will never forget Stevie Nicks because she was so cool and a woman. And Fleetwood were just the bit. and I can still hear
@raynerfamilynet You have got to be joking?! That woman cannot hold a note live. I've seen her and she sounded like a cat being run over. Flat as a pancake.
@BeccaGSD If you'd bothered to read the comment I was replying to, you would have noticed that I was actually referring to Florence Welch and not Stevie Nicks. Do your homework, idiot.
just saw Stevie at the Fillmore auditorium in San Francisco-it was great to see her in a smaller venue-show was great, she did 6 new songs plus her solo and FM hits
gawddamn if this isn't the best version of this song i don't know what is. there are ZERO bands like this anymore. appreciate this. it's not everyday you find incredible rock and roll like this, and don't ever expect it in the future, because it's not gonna happen.
This was back when Stevie could really cut lose with her voice. She sings with such passion and emotion that is truly amazing but that's what made Rumours such a great album.
I saw them for this tour. When I saw them, this was the encore. During her dance, while the instrumental was going, you would swear she would float off the stage and when they were ending the song, the audience was giving their all back to the band. Afterwards, we had no energy left we were so drained. It was one of the best concerts I ever been to, and I been to over a hundred. The only other one that came close was Lynyrd Skynyrd, when they did a twenty minute version of Free Bird.
this was way back when she would blow out her voice...and I am grateful to have some of these recorded because they are amazing....but it f@#ked up her voice really badly...she is now re trained and sounds amazing in a different way. I am so glad to have Stevie Nicks' music in my lifetime...all of it...a gift
Live performances of the song were sometimes prefaced with Nicks saying, "This is a song about an old Welsh witch." During 1975-1980, Fleetwood Mac's live performances of "Rhiannon" took on a theatrical intensity not present on the FM-radio single. The song built to a climax in which Nicks' vocals were so impassioned that, as drummer and band co-founder Mick Fleetwood said, "her Rhiannon in those days was like an exorcism."
@SophiesInsanity "This is the story about a Welsh witch" she'd say but your right. Mick said it was lemon & honey by the time she'd finish:) Point we both agree on-no 2 performances of 'Rhiannon' EVER the same don't know about you but thats a rare commodity today. Nicks is so humble right? She's a legend for sure but instead of criticizing female vocalists of today, rather, she embraces them, sings, & records with them. However, they ALL pale in comparison don't they?..lol TWIRL pretty girl!
This is the most intense ending to just about any mega rock tune you will ever find. Raw emotion and sexuality at its best!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hot and sweaty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh Lawd!!!!!!!!!!!!
