So if I am from tennessee and have zero mountaineering experience but tons of winter camping and backpacking experience and all the proper gear (boots, crampons, ice axe, helmet etc.) How good of a mountain is baker to start on as a noob? It looks like a lot of fun.
Nice climb, i am twelve and i just summited 2 days ago and is that video of you in the tents with the wind outside at basecamo or the black buttes. when i was up there one or two people was camped at the summit!!!
The part with the wind at camp was at "high camp" on the Railroad Grade trail. I can't remember the elevation at that camp, but I think it was around 7,000ft. Congrats on your summit!
Actually it was first thing on summit day as we left camp. You can tell because the sun is still coming up. Due to how I edited the video, it kind of jumps around so it's not necessarily in chronological order. There's another part of the video at about 2:50 in the same place where I zoom in on another team approaching the roman wall. I don't think I turned the camera on up on the Roman Wall. I was probably too tired, hah!
very nice climb (crazy winds!). Idaho doesn't have that kind of isolated mountain. Everything over here is in clusters and chains so approaches are pretty easy. thanks for posting this.
id take that shit with my sled

Nice video but the music makes me want to vomit, specially that last song.
