Don't get me wrong, the lyrics for this song are awesome, but the stutter-step of every other line makes a song drone for me, it just makes it sound (to me) like exaggerated tragedy, rather than actually capturing the emotion they're obviously chasing.

this reminds me of H.I.M. sort-of, I mean both bands have their own sound but I just mean close in style and lyrics.
Vampre Heart sounds a lot like this.
