i dunno what took them so long to get 4K resolution. My 24 inch monitor does 1080P... comparing that to a 50 inch screen running 1080P the big screen is just horrible. I can get 4K by just putting 4 monitors together im not sure why it took forever for this to happen

If you mean that you can't see as many pixels as in 4K resolution, it doesn't matter you'll still see better quality going higher than this resolution as things you see in real life are real and not pixels. Having pixels reduces the impurity and defects in pixels reproducing colour and the fact that you are seeing inbetween pixels etc too. You don't just see exact pixels because we aren't computers.

4K is definitely going towards the future. I freaking hate 3D, it's all a gimmick. It didn't take off before for a reason and it will definitely not take off again. I've seen big consumer electronic shops in Japan stopped flaunting 3D TV's and they are concentrating on OLED's.

Japan is actually working on Holographic TVs right now but they say it will not be released until after 2030 so guess that will be the release date .

Do you have to stand right in the middle of the screen to see 3D like the 3DS? Because that blows, with my Bravia we can sit anywhere around the room and not worry about it shifting out of focus or anything.

And to those saying 3D sucks you've obviously never played Motorstorm Apocalypse/Wipeout in 3D. It's mind blowing and i've tried Motorstorm in 2D and i can't go back to such a flat image anymore. Not only that i use my 40" 3DTV as my PC monitor so i also watch 3D movies off my PC

@ItsTiedToAStick No actually this TV works by using a camera which means as long as camera sees youl be able to see 3D. The camera is a tracking device which allows many people at a time to see 3D so this very different from other 3D TV in the past.
