Wow! Do you realy think that this mysterious bridge collaps was a planned event intended to preoccupy the peoples attention while the Democratic Congress forms allegiance with President Bush to pass the FISA Bill? Seems like theres alway a bigger story to report when the Government rams it's Big Dick up the Peoles ASS! See this? Look out for that!
YouTube, and other "blog" places, has turned into the new NEWS organization. Just as CNN, et. all, bring "experts" on during any emergency to talk about something there's no information on, video bloggers put forth conspiracies, whether they actually believe 'em or not.
This is one of these classic events that is custom-made for the Drive-By Media. "The country is falling apart. Bush spending too much in Iraq. Not paying enough attention to what's happening at home." Meanwhile, all these people complaining about the defense budget taking away money. Do you know that Minnesota was running, it's either this year or last, a $2.1 billion surplus?
I could get partisan, if I wanted to, but I don't think there's anything partisan about this, but I could do a tit-for-tat. I could say, "Have you ever noticed that the infrastructure failures in this country are happening in cities run by liberal Democrats?" New Orleans, Minnesota. I could say that. Well, I guess I just did say that, didn't I? I could say, "Why are they not paying attention to their infrastructure?
A bridge too old, Validated by a person who was not qualified to validate, and Engineered by a person who got a D in class. And both who forgot to ask the experienced employees questions on How to Build a Bridge. Because they went to College. Budget problems and counties diverting funds to fat corporate.
I don't know what you said because I can't read very well, but if this is something bad that happened then I know its Bush's fault. Even if it happenned before he wuz born its hiz fault.
Despite the loss of life and dramatic footage, it is a minor incident. Look at the low loss of life. It's just a bridge. This will pass quickly into Time-Life magazines.
Every life lost is important. I could say YOU are a minor incidednt too, but every life has the potential to do good. Wait until we have counted our dead before saying shit like this.
I want to claim this to be George Bush's fault. Or Dick Cheney would be OK instead. Even better would be both of them. A few of you folks sound like you could invent something for me on this.
Billions for a war based on lies but no money to maintain the safety of bridges. Keep contacting your elected members of congress and tell them you want cheney and bush impeached.
This country is falling apart, literally, and Bush and company keep justifying spending BILLIONS on this illegal and unecessary Iraqi invasion! Iraq had NOTHING to do with 9/11! Wake up people!
I think most people would surprised at how deteriorated our nation's highways are. This accident, disastrous as it was and god bless those unfortunate souls, was a long time coming.
My workshop is a few minutes away. My wife phoned me about a friend who was moving and traveled back & forth over the bridge 4 times yesterday up until 1 hour before it happened.
What a feeling to live with. It makes you re-evaluate everything in your life.
I just read an AP story on this bridge disaster. In it is this quote "The first step of the federal investigation will be to recover pieces of the bridge and reassemble them, kind of like a jigsaw puzzle, to try and determine what happened, NTSB Chairman Mark Rosenker said." WHY DID THIS NOT HAPPEN ON 911!?!?!?! They sent the evidence overseas!
terrorism.........the steam pipe explosion in NYC last week was also called "not terrorism" immediately.....Its obvious this is all terrorism. Both happened during 6 pm rush hour...
I just put up Bridge Video that deatails an area on bridge that is not lining up right. Looks like bottom truss cord is broken before collapse. See what news says about Terror
RIP to those lost on the 35W Bridge in Minneapolis. Wednesday, August 1, 2007. I travel that route to work at least 3 times a week. My heart goes out to all the families of the victims lost, and to all the families of those yet to be found.

It's amazing things like this don't happen everyday all over this country!
As gas tax money gets dirverted for other causes, ALL gas tax money should be spent on the highway infrastructure rebuilding.
Just wait until one of New York's bridges falls into the river!
It's only a matter of time!

exactly!!!
If 911 wasn't an inside job they would have investigated it, and learn what the structural flaw was, but of course they didn't :)
