  • Song title: "Bong Hong Cai Ao" of Trinh Cong Son / singer: Khanh Ly.

  • i live in saigon for 13 years of my life..... i move to USA like 4 years ago. Saigon is changing alot i dun look like Saigon i know before

  • Google it. "Vietnam seeks Google, Yahoo! help to control bloggers: reports (AFP)- Dec 2, 2008

The government will announce new rules this month, stressing that weblogs should serve as personal online diaries, not as organs to disseminate opinions about politics, religion and society, senior officials were quoted as saying... violators could face 12,000-dollar fines and up to 12 years jail."

    >> HO CHI MINH !

IS THIS THE "FREEDOM" THAT YOU FOUGHT FOR ??? THANKS A LOT, ASSHOLE !!!

  • If you truly would love Vietnam, you should be loving Bac Ho 2, because without him you would be living in Vietnam rightnow and speaking French. Your comment shows you have a lack of knowledge about Vietnam.

  • je reconnais se rues !la! saigon et oui en 2006 le casque est pas obliger ^^'

  • i miss my family...='(

  • it Saigon everyone. no more ho chi minh city.

  • Good Video, good song !!! Saigon is beautiful !!!

  • video is Pro, KhanhLi sangs as same time when she sit with a stick in her ass. I'm kidding !

Why don't we change another song syncronize with the rthymth of video ?

  • can u tell what song is this?

  • It's Khanh Ly - Bong Hong Cai Ao. I have it if you or anyone wants it. just PM me.

  • villagehola should take anthropology 101 for giving a "superior comment."

  • No city is more beautiful than your own city, for me it's saigon.

  • what is that song?

  • I've lived in vietnam for 5 years. Now, I'm back in france, and I miss saigon damn much, every aspect of it: Messy, mixing past and present, peopled... alive!

  • w0w...very interesting!!! so what is your nationality??? when will you visit vietnam again??? i really want to go back but having financial difficulty....so...have to wait couple more years ;) thankz again

  • beautiful scenery....and beautiful song....whats a perfect choice!!! you know how to speak, read and write vietnamese??? thankz for the video....missed vn very much.

  • Sure ! I read and write french, english, cambodian and vietnamese. And only speak some chinese (Tzéchuan). Webmaster

  • very talented my friend...what ethnic backgroud are you?

  • cppcanada, so you're cambodian of chinese-descent raised in vietnam. is that what you meant to say?

    that's beautiful, be proud.

  • the first thing they should do is tear down all those old buildings that was left over from the colonial period and ban the girls wearing tradition clothings running around on the streets or serving in the hotels or restaurants. Save the old buildings to preserve slave pride? These two things look so inferiors to foreigners as if vietnam is still in the colonial period under foreigner's rule. Those are the exact images appear in the western history textbooks.

  • What is wrong with preserving ones culture? The old buildings is what makes it unique.U might as well get Rome to tear down the Colleseum. You don't see other coutries going around tearing their old buildings down do you? And if u were to excavate the old buildings or ban Viet girls from following their traditions and wearing their own nations dress then u might as well allow it to become more westernised then it already is.

  • Those costumes and buildings is what makes it VIETNAM, not inferior!! its ignorance that leads ppl to think other countries are inferior to others

  • the old colonial buildings are part of the charm of saigon. when i travel to a city i like to see its history. that is why i find saigon so much more interesting than taipei, singapore, seoul, etc. which all look alike with modern skyrisers all built within the same period. is that what you think saigon should be like? as for girls wearing ao dai, they look beautiful in them.

  • agreed. although i've never been to singapore. i live in seoul, and it has one-thousandth the charm of HCMC.

would move to vietnam in a heartbeat. very gentle but determined people. even tho the northerners are a bit gruff, it's their country. i'm glad they survived the 60s intact, and that they are prospering now. i bought an ao dai for my korean gf, but...it's not the same.

    :)

  • "bought an ao dai for my korean gf, but...it's not the same. " lol... don't move to Argentina, those people are very vain and could give less than a damn about anyone else.

  • yeah, i've heard they are the most arrogant in all of south america. the koreans have that distinction here in asia, i think, despite the fact that they all act like drunken villagers, spitting, puking, and snapping their gum like cows. (i hope big brother isn't listening)

  • Are you Vietnamese? Ho chi Minh city's always beautiful! IT's Vietnamese Honor

  • Is it necessary to be or to be not Vietnamese to share to everyone what you see in your travel ? So I was in thi city 13 years, from 1975 to 1988.
