Let me clear up a few things:
-Tibet has been a part of China, if you don't believe me, look on the map.
-China is not anti-Buddhist, there are Muslims, Buddhists, Christians in China, these are the main religions. China however, would not tolerate Buddhist revolt against the government.
-There was no evidence of Tibetan Massacre, most of this was stirred up by illegal immigrants crossing boarder from Tibet to Nepal, and was shot by boarder patrol. Anyone have any massacre evidence, do show.

-Tibet is a poorly developed country, without China, it's people would not have clean water, electricity, industrialization, and cities.
-Tibet wants to rule itself, it's primary reasons; see Dali Lama as their true leader, culture differences from Han Chinese.
-China wants to rule Tibet, because Tibet has natural resources essential to China's economy, such as coals, and all sorts of metals.

-Tibet wants to rule themselves because their culture differs from Han Chinese. Can blacks or Asians rule America just because they have different cultures? This is "Ethnocentrism", and it is the primary belief of Hitler of Nazi Germany (Arian race).

I will explain. Iraq is in civil war. There are different kind of factions. You have the Sunni and the Shiite who are fighting against eachother. Then you have people who fight against the US and UK forces. Iraq didn't go as planned. I do see hope though. I have trust in the new Iraqi government. Talking about China, I do not have trust in the Chinese government.

Attacks on ordinary Chinese people in Tibet are certainly to be condemned but China is ultimately responsible for the situation in occupying Tibet, treating Tibetans worse than the Chinese and trying to supress their way of life. There is a harsh and repressive regime in place and young people especially are becoming frustrated. They need the world to act on their behalf and they need China to start listening.

For me it's not so much a question of aroquentin and others, being communist sympathizers or not. Malta just elected a Communist president and while I'd have never voted for him, the process was open, fair and ultimately legitimate.
The issue is favouring political freedom and opposing those who sympathize with the idea that the ruling party of China must save Tibetans from themselves.

But what if some other country took over the United States and took away our freedom and suppressed our culture? What would you do? Just take it? All chinese people should spread this video. Why isn't this kind of violence and looting shown on western media？why the single-minded focus on only one side of the story？where is the ethics of the purported truth defenders western journalists have always touted themselves to be?What if this mob scene happens in London or New York? Ideological differenes aside, all violences should be condemned, whichever side it comes from.

More relevant than the question of breaking up China is granting political freedoms to the Chinese people, including Tibetans. If China is so sure of its greatness than it should no problems with letting its own citizens determine its political future, including Tibetans.

not now. many of the tibetans don't know what's good for themselves as much as you do. most of them can't even read. they are raised to believe in slavery so they actually have no other choices.
