Great playing! I think the only thing I would improve on is be more fluent with the picking in the beggining. As in just let the notes play themselves, no need to cut them off, just makes it sound choppy. This took forever for me to get down, great job! Might want to try to tune up just a smidge next time though. 4/5.

very nice effort!! - i suggest you try to keep your phrases going by holding the bass notes for their full values and focusing on getting your timing spot on. perhaps a nylon classical guitar would make it easier and produce a nicer sound. just my opinion!

It's good you know how to play the song, however:

1) You're out of tune

2) The song is not jazzed up

3) Try to soften the notes rather than playing them staccato the whole time

4) When entering the 2nd passage of the musical score, don't rush the notes. The song is played rather soft, not jazz as mentioned before.

5) Beautify the song...just don't pick notes. It sounds like crap.

Maybe in you're opinion, however, playing guitar for 15 years, being classically trained in classical, jazz, pop, and more, I've grown with an trained ear for tone, pitch, and key. I'm not sure if his strings are old (could make the guitar sound out of tune), or if it's the brand of strings he bought. Both could sound out of tune. Furthermore, as mentioned before, the 2nd passage does not have the two 8th notes played as quick as he played. The song is not jazz. Come back when you know what

skynyrdfan5, he`s palying the song with the "Little Martin" guitar, a guitar not known for it`s sound, but for it`s portability. I do not think the video is a bad one, though,. I own the "Little Martin" myself and for a 3/4 guitar, the sound is quite pleasing. Just do not play your regular Martin before playing the "Little Martin", it`ll sound lousy.
