Beautiful, i really love painting moonlit skies with tree/mountain silhouettes with water colours but i have trouble when it comes to canvas and acrylic paints, im trying to get better at it though. Do you mix any water in with you're paint? and can you reccomend any good paint brushes for small detailing, I bought mine from a set and they just don't seem right for using with acrylics

this is a very nice way to do the moon, unfortunatly this is acrylic, and i find myself a common user of oil paints. can you use this method for oil paints? personally i do not think so, because they don't tend to blend as well as acrylic, but you seem to be a better painter then myself so you would know better...

@Sakerasuijima Yes you can paint it with oils. You will have to leave the clouds space blank when doing the sky

@nick21kapuso It's the moon itself that takes more time to paint. The rest is faster. I would say it takes about an hour

hi the instructions are GREAT. are you using a medium or a glazing liquid to keep the paint from drying quickling. you blend it so well. i guess my painting or blending is too slow. in any case it really leaves me amazed. i've tried some of your tips in my paintings and it really makes a BIG difference. thanks again.

@learningartagain I thin the paint with just water. I never use any mediums. Just a personal habit. The idea is to mix the paint and have it ready and blend it quickly on the canvas before it dries. Glad to help. thanks for watching
