Its about cloning, well test tube babies. they dont have umbilical cords so they didnt have a belly button, he had no father to donate seamen, no mother to bear him or to get milk from, he had a tube down his throat (basically to feed and water him) he was born in a tube.

Because, Till Lindemann in the barred hole represents the "thing" without a mother, if it was abortion then he would not be "alive" because... well, the abortion obviously. So, when he says "without a mother" that implies to me that all he has is a creator, or lab person that made him in basically a testing tube... so... clone.

This song just signifies how incredibly poetic Rammstein is and that every damn song they make has a message to it. It's subject to whomever listens to it and understands what is being said to determine what that message really is, but I know that I this band is absolutely unique and in my opinion is hard to outdo. Whoever writes the lyrics is awesome, but Till and the rest of the band pull it off with their ability to act and talented voices.
