Like it or not, the idol expires. Karma doesn't. With 18 seasons to draw upon, Russell needed to make socializing the centerpiece of his game. That was exactly what Natalie did and why the JURY voted her the best player.

sometimes the company you keep make you a target. to get to laura they had to break down her protectors. kelly was closest to her. if laura had gone earlier they wouldnt have targeted kelly. i think it was purley strategic. they had nothing against kelly but her friend laura had to be stopped.

The jury was all comprised of the other tribe which were bitter the fact they lost despite the huge advantage they had going into the merge. If Russel had a bad social game he wouldn't have gone that far and Eric only had about 1-2 days with Russel yet the "SOCIAL" game somehow matters to him? Really?

@Gr33nkiwi It was a group decision to have natalie talk to the galu girls not her own and Russel talked to everyone on the foa foa tribe to create a plan like this before they merged. If Russel didnt get his hidden immunity idols 3 times they wouldnt have all made it to the final 4 also. If Natalie didnt listen to Russel she would have been voted off earlier also. Her so called strategy was all she could say to defend her doing nothing which is basically wat she did compared to Russel.

Also, without Natalie Russell would have been 11th. Natalie made the key move in saving FoaFoa.
Natalie played the best game for the circumstances. She even says 'I'm just going to let my alliance think I'm stupid, because I know I'm not. I know that I can easily beat Russell in the end'

@Paintballer38x Check episode 4, Natalie says right there that her whole strategy is to let Russell think he can beat her, when, in reality he never stood a chance. Russell's social game was HORRIBLE, where as Natalie's was amazing.
Natalie says straight up a few times that she knows she can beat Russell. Russell was just too stupid to realize the flaw in his game, and the strength in Natalie's.

Its kind of silly to not give the votes to someone who dominated the whole game, and entered the merge with 4 and took down every single person. He cracked 2 of the strongest alliances in history, even fucking jeff probst thinks russell was a victim of a bitter jury.

Even probst said russell was robbed. Outwitt, Outplay, nobody came even close to doing either of those things to russell, he's a victom of a bitter jury, he doesn't play to win, he'd rather be told that he's the best from the majoraty of the viewers, and not from a bunch of damaged ego punks. A true survivor player is someone that can get to the final 3 the majoraty of times you play, if natalie played again, she'd never even come close. You can only use the coattial tactic so many times. Man I remember the Ep she was eliminated. I was shattered. She had been my favorite for a while, and she deserved to stay longer.
But not taking any credit away from Russell, he knew that with Laura winning the Immunity, that Kelly was a bigger threat than Monica, hence vote for her.
I know it doesn't happen, but I wish Kelly was going to be on Heroes vs. Villians season, would have been good.

Russel certainly was the best player of the season. The rules of the game: Outwit, outplay, outlast. what did he do? he followed those rules. It doesnt necessarly mean that youll win the million, its just the best chance of winning. if your a person who is liked so much, and theres smart people out there, your going home.

Everyones entitled to their opinion on that. Kelly didnt do much. She relied on her friendship with the self-destructing Galus to get her by. And she and the rest of the Galus didn't even consider the possibility of Russell playing another idol. She was good socially and physically, but mentally she wasnt a great player. She deserved the boot (for the record im not a huge fan of Russell either...I want Natalie to win)
