  • good job ;-)

  • Will you PLEASE make a tutorial? I have deph family I would like to share this with. Thanks so much!

  • Beautifull!!

  • Don't listen to anyone's negative comments about this interpretation. It's beautiful and you can really feel the emotion coming out of the signs. I've seen different interpretations but I really like this one a lot. I think you captured the essence of the song through sign, so you go girl.

  • @hotwaiter I really appreciate your comment so much :D I know it's not perfectly ASL, but this is my style and have had only good reviews on the clarity of it from my deaf/h.o.h. friends and family-- so it's something I am glad I could share~ I know how to use ASL in real conversation and interpreting live, but with music I like to mouth the words. When I do that it, it's difficult to sign without a little SEE mixed in...

  • Very simple interpretation and easy enough to understand. What you may want to do in the future is move the camera back a bit more. Sometimes the signs are getting cut off. When making ASL videos, it's always good to capture from the waist up.

  • @fireandice2021 yes, I realized that afterwards, but I was taping by myself and standing on my knees for a 3 takes ;) figured you can see the facial expressions well, but I see what you mean. Thank you so much for your suggestion!

  • i love the accuracy of this video it was exactly everything i was taught where did you learn sign language

  • @marilyndarlingshow thank you, Marilyn! I have deaf parents & deaf uncles... lots of deaf/hard-of-hearing friends that have helped me along the way :)

  • I really love your videos!!! You are amazing!!! :)

  • @TangerineHippie1 Grazie!!!

  • Im in love!

  • Very well donce, Some of the signs were differant than what I am used to but not by much. You did beautifully.

    God bless xx

  • Wow this is so perfect in so many ways. Only thing I hate is how ppl are trying to tell her whether she's wrong or right in her interpretation. First off, EVERYONE'S style of signing is different. Secondly, this is HER interpretation of the song...meaning that the interpretation won't always be universal. However she interprets the song is how SHE sees it, and now how YOU see it. Great job again :) I hope to become as good as you one day...

  • @abcdefghijohnly I'm so grateful for your comment. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my video. I used to feel embarrassed in my interpreting classes for my style and speediness, but since I've been interpreting for several deaf/h.o.h. (hard-of-hearing) friends since 2003 they've been the ones that have told me that they are impressed and love my style. So, it makes me realize that my way is acceptable to the majority of the deaf culture. Not the nit-pickers who are mean-spirited.

  • @tiffanyevita For sure :) You're awesome, people are just hatin on the awesomeness! Haha

  • This absolutely beautiful!! The setting, the straight forward looking into camera, the fluid movements and choice of signs regarding ASL. I love that you added the gloss.. that was a nice touch.. Certainly hope to see more videos in the future :)

  • youre signing english which is not american sign language. this is an awful interpretation of this beautiful song.

  • @johnbobj24 I'm sorry you feel that way. I have deaf parents and this is what I was taught by all my deaf family and friends. It's more PSE. God bless you!

  • @tiffanyevita I think it's beautiful.

  • @johnbobj24 dont judge.. she didnt say she was a professional... she is showing her gift! I thought it was beautiful and my deaf husband did too!!!

  • @johnbobj24

SO WHAT GET OVER IT < IF A DEAF PERSON CAN UNDERSTAND IT AND ITS IN AMERICA ITS ASL! yes i get it asl it more of your own way ya ya ya okay but its still sign language and lots of deaf people still say asl when they are mostly using ESL

  • @johnbobj24 Since you can do such an amazing job how about you post your translation.....

  • Thank you for the Literal translations!!! I have so much to learn!

  • you are so goood

  • i love that u broke it down in the signs you were actually using i am so inspired

  • I love this. It's really beautiful.

  • It's good that there is caption! thank you! :D

  • I had so much fun learning this song in ASL thanks to you!! Thank you so much for using captions.

  • I like how fluid your movements are. I'd love to learn how to sign. It's such a hard class to find and the teacher who teaches it tends to be intercahangeable between the college campuses and the begininer and moderate classes. I find it absouletly fascinating that there is a language spoken entierely with the hands like this. You did a nice job.

  • @LuvofMusic10

You are so sweet! Thank you so much for the compliment :D It is hard to find quality, passionate people, although I have a lot to learn with ASL too.. I tend to do a lot of PSE, but it's ok because the majority watching are my hard-of-hearing friends and other students who use similar styles... I will have to make a lot more videos~

  • absolutely amazing i learned the whole song from u!!!!!!!!

    i love ASL!!!

  • Parabéns muito bom seu video ...

  • You did a beautiful job and thank you for your sensitive handling of a comment from a few months ago. I do wonder about the part about I wish nothing but the best for you..(you signed it as also, I think I would sign it as two, instead, it kind of changes the meaning, but is a bit more appropriate to the song, in my opinion.)

  • @qrvt thank you so much :) I followed the lyrics I found online.. but it does make a difference~

  • Beautiful job Tiffany

  • I would love it if you could teach us this! <3

  • pls have a tutorial about this, I love the way u sign plus ur expression is excellent. Thanks Lucy

  • I am learning Brazilian Sign Language, it different from American Sign Language but both are beautiful languages

  • This is beautiful :(

  • Beautiful.

  • ....and thank you for the captions. Really helps those learning....

  • @marykays1 I love captions :) I know that a lot of people wanted to know what exactly I signed sign-for-sign for the lyrics...

  • Amazing!! Sharing it fer sher!!!

  • I really enjoyed thsi video I'm learning sign language here in Canada. And i think its awesome your sharing mmusic for everbody to enjoy wether their hearing, deaf, hard of hearing :) keep it up.

P.S- I like how you didn't sign in english, like some people's videos all though I do enjoy those too :)

  • @MsCKennedy11 thank you! I try to strive for more ASL because I know I can improve, but at the moment I'm more PSE (pigeon signed english). It's hard to transition since I know most people that use ASL tell me they like my style. I interpret mostly for hard-of-hearing friends.

  • i love this song you expressed the words really good i understood the words i been taking asl for this year twice so exciting to learn an language..thanks for sharing .

  • Beautiful signing. Great job.

  • It´s really good!! I´m spanish and I sign Spanish Sign Language, I was searching on the internet for some videos for learning a bit of ASL as possible, I found all of them too much difficult for me, but your´s is really beatiful, and I´ve learn a lot watching your video, thank you very much!!! don´t stop signing songs!! Best wishes from Spain :3

  • @superokis very cool!! I'm glad you're interested in learning it :) I will keep going~

  • @superokis I'm learning Spanish at university. It would be cool if you posted some vids of you doing Spanish Sign Language. If not, then that's okay.

  • @Kryptoniankousin I wish! Every sign language is different. I don't know Spanish and Spanish Sign Language. Maybe you can make a video of those that use it and I can watch to see what their signs are like.

  • WOW.. what wonderful signing you did :) Thanks for sharing :) Keep up the fantastic job :)

  • Tiffany you did a wonderful job on this song! :)

I've been going through the different channels that showcase this in ASL on youtube and I thought you captured the "essence" of it beautifully. Really lovely.

  • @Babs2bone Thank you so much! It's a song that we all can relate to I think :)

  • I thought u were going to ASL "shivaree-goodnight moono" for my BDay... :(

  • @Gweedaw I'm sorry, but this is just a hobby of mine and I prefer signing songs that mean a lot to me. I don't know that song you're referring to... Happy late birthday :)

  • @tiffanyevita

i know its just an hobby for you, but i saw on ur channel u ASL mail too for ppl who asks... American Sign Lenguage is different from Italian Sign Lenguage...so i thought u cud do a nice gesture as a gift and teach me to "sing my fav songs in english"... thanks anyway! ur awsome

  • if you don't like "Goodnight moon" by Shivaree... maybe you wud like to do "On my Own" from Les Miserables, im sure tht song is more on ur chords...hope to "hear" from you soon :D

  • Impressive talent. Loves from a Canadian.

  • I love sign language, a girl in my sister's class is deaf and she rides the bus Im on. Im in private school so I ride with all grades. She is infourth grade. She says being deaf is wonderful, but that is because she has hearing implants so she can hear some. Shesays that if a fight brews in her house that she doesn't want to listen 2, all she has 2 do is take off her implants. She says shelikes being deaf and thats why I admire her. She is thankful for what she has and not what she doesnt.

  • @annkolg2g that's cool! Well, sometimes they prefer silence. The sounds she hears is different. Have you seen Switched at Birth on Hulu?

  • @tiffanyevita i got to see the first episode looked cool my bff loves the series

  • This video is touching and beautiful, and also, wherever it was filmed is absolutely gorgeous.

  • i really love how you say the english while you sign. i think it helps the meaning be clearer.

  • @deafmom22 thank you! The hardcore ASL users tend to dislike this method, but I think it's what the younger generation want to incorporate the English with the signs...

  • The captions were helpful C: Learning this! Thanks!

  • I love it. Just a pet-peave of mine, many people make the mistake of saying or thinking she says "I wish nothing but the best for you, too." but she says "for you two."

    But this was great!

  • @BabyFarley91 thanks Farley :) I found the lyrics online, so I followed that... That's how I feel about Rolling in the Deep- the part where it says "I'll let your SHIP bare" where everyone puts the bad "s" word.

  • You did a great job on this video and I appreciate the ASL captions.

  • @anthony2717 thank you Anthony! I thought it would be fun to read along for those that are curious... Happy New Year :)

  • your Sync with the signs is fantastic!

  • Where is the Closed Captioning?

  • You are a beautiful signer. :D I love it.

  • beautiful.

  • @izzynaomi Captions are up! :) Just click on CC on the bottom-right corner for the break down of my signs vs. the lyrics of the song...

  • i love your video..inspired to make mine also.. :)

  • @sydeneri717 sweet!!

  • This video should be like.... 20 MILLION BAJILLION VEIWS!!!!!!!!!!! heehee

  • @ThePandaBeth I wish! :) Thanks Beth xoxo

  • So beautiful that you help others to enjoy the music that most people take for granted, respect to you and those like you, making a difference to other peoples lives :)

  • @thelongpig69 thank you so much! I believe signing a strength for me. Plus, it makes me happy :D

  • This is the first time i actually watched a song translated into sign language but i suddenly wondered something.

Are there different languages in sign language?

like.. this is an ''english'' sign language but for me in dutch it would be different?

  • @Kuriix yes, there are signs in pretty much every language. and they are usually all different signs but with of course some similarities. this is asl (american sign language) and it wouldn't be referred to as english either. it would be classified as it's own language because it has it's own dialect, grammar, and etc etc. :)

  • @highreyesss ah.. too bad

i was thinking about learning sign language but now i am not sure.

Since american sign language would not seem to be usefull in holland

  • @Kuriix yes there are. almost every country has their version of sign language. on you tube look up the japanese sign language. it is very cool to watch.

  • @Kuriix Yes. Different countries have their own sign language. Sometimes they are similar, but for example Japanese sign language has an extremely different alphabet. There is a supposed 'international' sign language... but it is not often used.

  • this is amazing

  • That was really good.

    I love ASL.

I signed all day at school for deaf awareness day (:

It was funny how my friends were all confused and stuff because they don't know sign language.

    But anyways,

    Bravo :D

  • wow, beautiful setting!

  • *smile* great job Coda! lml/

  • Very beautiful video, I hope to see more like this in the future from you :)

  • Lovely expression and hands!!

  • I am just so touched on this video.. I always wonder how it would be to be deaf.. I have a friend she is deaf. Her name is Ally. She said that deaf is like hell. Yhu can't get out of it, no matter how hard yhu traii. && I have a friend... her name is Elizabeth. She has 2 deaf parents she had to learn sign language... && I had always prayed about to all the people like this. I wish sometimes if God would give me that instead of them. If I could, have the power, I'll transfer any disorder to me...

  • @musiclovergothic That's very sweet of you :) Well, many Deaf (meaning proud to be Deaf, not "hearing-impaired") are don't like they're labeled "diabled". If you were born hearing and then turned deaf later in life then it would impair your day-to-day life. Although Deaf face discrimination & oppression, they're usually proud of their culture and language just as any ethnic background. So, don't feel bad for their deafness, but more the hardships they face. We all have weakness & strengths.

  • @tiffanyevita Thanks so much :3

  • @tiffanyevita Damn girl, good answer. :)

  • @Musiclovergothic It's not a disorder honey.

  • @Musiclovergothic for one deaf people can do everything hearing people can do but hear. It is NOT a disorder. I myself am a CODA like your friend and don't you even think for a second that i need to be prayed for because of it. I would not change it for the world. Before posting such comments you need to educate yourself because in the deaf community there is so much pride that it is unbelievable. So i am going to pray that if i could have the power to cure you from such ignorance, i would.

  • @amsharpe714 I didn't mean to offend you pardon my english. I didn't mean deaf is a disorder. I said that I'll transfer ANY disorder to me. I wasn't just talking about being deaf. I was talking about having a "special "thing. I used to have that... so please don't get mad at me. Sorry that I put other things in a wrong way. I was just starting to finish my specialness as you guys say. And thank you for the prayer, even when you mean't it in a bad way. Just again, sorry that I have offended you.

  • @Musiclovergothic Being deaf isn't seen as being disabled dear.. It is a way of life; another culture. "Audism" is a prevalent thing among the hearing, and it looks like your friends seem to have been affected by it too. Being hearing is just as much of a disadvantage as an advantage. Deaf culture is the best <3.

  • @35jad Oh. Ok.

  • A beautiful video, that is very well done. Tiffany is very talented! Fantastic job!

  • Beautiful Video

    Beautiful Song

    Beautiful Girl

    Great job!

  • @rafaelguajardo8 thank you cousin!!! xoxo

  • very nice! barely knowing ASL, I wanted to see what your hands were doing when they dipped below the camera. But the closeup of the emotion on your face made up for it. Such beautiful hands! I'm coveting.....

  • @fterbirth :) I was filming alone, so I didn't have a camera person to help lol. Thank you for the compliment!

  • This video is so sweet... The girl in the video is so cute and makes this the best song ever. Please make more videos..sexy...:)

  • @traviscurrier really? I think you say that cuz I'm your wife lol j/k I know you mean it xoxo
