Wow. 8 lbs! I'm positive you'll loose it all right after baby though. No worries. What an awesome bassinet! The history makes it that more awesome. I do see the line on your belly. Yay! Were getting so close!
your belly is definitely growing basketball style! haha.. I think you look amazing though! and I know how you feel about the weight.. I told my mom today that I don't know where the 38 lbs i've gained have gone! I don't know how you're so calm about being pregnant for 40 weeks lol I'm going crazy already wanting this baby out!! happy almost 9 months!
Beautiful bassinet! Yay, for a healthy 35th week:) Just think 2 wks & your full time & "go time" can really happen at any point. Don't stress the wt gain, you look beautiful. Awesome news that baby is heading south!
congratulations on almost 9 months :-) i know how you feel,,,i was all belly too, in puerto rico the wives tell is, if you grow to the sides its a girl and if you grow forward (ROUND) its a boy. proved true with me !
its nice to hear that i am not the only one that really enjoyed pregnancy and wasn't in a hurry to go into labor. it is over so soon. I think everyone should cherish the experience. i was blessed to have a great pregnancy so i guess i can't judge others :) beautiful bassinet !
I second the losing weight with breastfeeding! I usually gain 30 lbs even (I have with both pregnancies, and now sitting at 21 lbs this pregnancy) But, by the 6-week postpartum check-up, I am back to pre-pregnancy weight or less.
I always love your videos and look forward to your updates. That bassinet is so adorable! And you look fantastic... I have no idea where you put 30 pounds, you are ALL baby! <3
@FreeUpYourMind Thanks so much ~ you always say the sweetest things! I hope I don't sound like I'm bragging about the weight thing... I just honestly find it hard to believe b/c I don't feel that different! :)
I work from home one day a week and its a little harder once your kids start being mobile but you will be great at it with a newborn they sleep for such long stretches. I plan on working from home for 3 months after I have my third and my older two will be with my husband and/or mother in law during the day so I can actually get some work done :) its good your getting to start soon that way you can kind of see how it will work out.
@rmmartin92405 Thanks for the insight -that sounds great! What kind of work to do you? Did you always have the option of working from home or did you have to arrange it when you had kids? I really hope I'll be able to work it out like you have! :)
@katulka2 i do title research for a land company, a lot of our people work "remotely" but I've always been an office worker, so all I had to do was ask and then prove that I could handle it and then now they are very nice and work with me a lot and if i'm sick or one of the kids is i just work from home and am able to still get paid for the day :) its so nice :)
Wow that bassinet is amazing! I absolutely love it. It looks like every pound you have gained is right in that round belly. Oh my gosh the picture of Mike with the cat, laughing out loud!
@MiaVerita Thanks, Kellie! There's something about a man putting on a baby carrier - Mike went straight for one of my parents' cats to try it out & Kelsey's husband did the same thing with their dog recently. Too funny!
@PrettyLittleLiar98 We tend to like pretty gender-neutral clothes, so that's the majority of what we have so far for the first 3-6 months, basic stuff with stripes, yellows & greens, white, brown, etc. We have some hand-me-downs for a boy and a few for a girl after 6 months, so we'll just go from there. Someday I'll do a baby's room tour and show some of it. :)
That bassinet is gorgeous! You look really great, it looks like the only thing that got bigger anywhere was your belly...you lucky girl! I only gained 32 lbs my last pregnancy but I looked puffy all over. Good thing that the breastfeeding helped me lose all the baby weight and an additional 15 lbs. :)
You're so cute! The baby thanks you in advance... Bassinet is so awesome! My husband sold his stroller from when he was a baby and I begged him not to because it was just so cool. It's nice that you got to snab it! Do you get to keep it now and pass it down to your kids or does it stay in his family to pass around? OOOH! I'm so excited to meet the baby! =) Lots of luck, sweetie!
@TTCaMiniMash Thanks! You always say the sweetest things! :) I'd love to keep the cradle to pass down to our kids but I asked my husband last night & he said his folks would probably give it to his brother if/when he has a baby, so we'll see... I'm so excited too, lol! :)
Loved the bassinet, and you look great!!
