It would be great it was based on the Original not the remake of Battlestar Galactica. I was 9 years old when BG was on the air, and I'm still a fan of it. Even have a Original Cylon tattoo on the right side of my right ankle.

the new series was sooo good. i really don't see much sense of making a movie from the lame original series. if they want something to invest on, i say firefly. it's just unbelievable how a series of only 14 episodes that aired 7 ayers ago still has such a strong fan base. firefly was awesome, but fox just didn't know how to market it... any show on friday nights is doomed, fox is just stupid.

I never watched the newer series, but I enjoyed the original series as a child growing up...but, yeah, I'd probably go see a theatrical version of the original story.

since the new series has already had some movies come out on dvd i think this is another reboot which im glad about, the new tv series was good but but was very slow and had a crap ending to the storyline
