in part the songs are the same cause dave mackintosh ( drumer of the band) in a big part of they songs he use the same base, i like a lot how does he play the drums but he isn´t creative but check the guitar and the bass are diferent in every songs .... thats my opinion but i think they are amizings musicians ...

However, every song, to me at least, creates a very different image. So, as someone carefully investigating the songs and analyzing them, they do all sound the same. But, as a fan listening to the song for the music, they're all different.

Song structure, guitar tone, and melodies are all different from each album. And as far as the songs on the same album, sure, they sound the same, but if that's the case, then every band sounds the same. For the same reasons as why DF sounds the same. They all have their own distinct sound. So people are just complaining because they are stupid haha.

Somebody who actually carefully studies the tracks of each song will soon realize that there's more differences in each sound than can be counted. As for the lyrics, yes, those are often alike, but they're also unique in that every single song from Valley of the Damned to E.P.M. are actually telling one big story. DragonForce is the only "metal" band with real music and meaning
