  • @usafireandrescue then how much sugar do you recommand ??

  • Forget the cookies. This blonde is sexy! I wanna see the full view of her? Can I eat the cookies off her flat stomach.... Whew, she's hot!

  • hi you have a great video just one question do i have to us vanilla extract

  • @usafireandrescue ^_^ thanks for this recipe too god bless

  • i made this! 2 cups of sugar and its too sweet.. have to decrease amount of sugar next time ive done this again

  • PLEASE ANSWER! DO I NEED TO ADD PEANUT BUTTER?? IM ALLERGIC SO I CANT EAT IT BUT GREAT VIDEO !

  • @LoveeeYouuBabesssz Hi! Thanks for watching. You can leave out the peanut butter. I did this before, accidentally, and it turned out fine. Hope you will like this. Hugs...

  • You can also just lay spoonfuls of the recipe out on a waxed-paper lined cookie sheet and spread them out in circles, instead of putting them into a dish and slicing them.

  • i love how she uses the shot glass as a measuring spoon

  • Thanks for the recipe... Subscribed :-)

  • i dont have quick cookings oats but i do have the oats that you have to cook for like 5 minutes. what do i do then? cook the oats first the mix it in?

also do i have to have vanilla?

  • i can use melted chocolate instead of cocoa ?

  • Woah, I almost clicked on the dislike button. I thought this was a Sandra Lee video.

  • Hi, I was wondering if there is a replacement for the butter? I'm new to cooking so I have no idea. I read somewhere applesauce?

  • @heathen1392 Hi! Thank you so much for watching. I have substituted applesauce for butter when making bread and it turned out great. I've also made baked cookies this way too. But unfortunately, I've never tried it with this no bake cookie recipe. It seems like it would work, but I'm not sure. Sorry I'm not much help. :-(

  • can i use cereal instead of oat?

  • @thefairgirl Hi! Thank you for watching. I've always used quick cooking oats in this recipe, but some friends said they subbed in rice krispies or cheerios. Hope you will like this recipe. Thanks again for stopping by!

  • I tried these today and I found it a bit too sweet with the 2 cups of sugar so next time I will add maybe a cup and a half, or maybe a 1/2 cup of sugar and 1/3 of brown sugar. I also added chopped walnuts to the mixture too. I used the natural peanut butter the kind you have to refrigerate and that made it a bit oily so set up time increased but overall the taste is delicious and I think this recipe is great for people like me with a wheat allergy but love chocolate peanut butter cookies.

  • GREAT recipe ! It's SO easy to make and it tastes DELICIOUS!

Also, i added Nutella in place of Peanut Butter and it's amazing!

But it didnt harden much..it was gooey( i love gooey) but do you have any idea why it didnt harden?

  • @shmanganna Hi! Thank you so much for stopping by and writing in. I really appreciate it! Oh wow, I never thought about using Nutella! I'm definitely trying that next time! Thank you for the idea!! If it turned out gooey, you may want to increase the cooking time. Wait until it is at a good, full, rolling boil and then keep it there for at least 1 minute. If it's still gooey, try cooking it for a little bit longer after it reaches the rolling boil. Hope this helps. Hugs...

  • @usafireandrescue Aww thank you for replying :) Im making another batch tomorrow so i will try that out :)

Oh yeah nutella was so yummy in it :D

Thanks again for the recipe! Keep posting recipes like this! LOVE it!

    xoxo

  • I tried this a few days ago but it never hardened and its sill gooey. what did i do wrong?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • @svthebomb Hi! Thanks so much for watching and writing in. You should try increasing the boiling time a little if it's gooey. Wait until it is at a full, rolling boil and then keep it there for at least 1 minute. If it's still gooey, increase the boiling time a bit. Hope this helps. Thanks again for stopping by!

  • I use to make them when I was 9 - 10 years old by myself and they are DELICIOUS and easy to make-3

  • just wondering... what kind of milk did you use?? :)

  • @iamyanashin Hi. Thank you for watching. I use 2% milk for this recipe. Hope you can give it a try... the cookies are so yummy. Have a beautiful day! Hugs...

  • I love it the cookies are great but I also love the end showing all your mess up's. Keep up the good work and leave the re-takes at the end. Hugs

  • I <3 your vids you look so nice :)

  • mm i love chocolate peanut butter cookies!

  • thanx so much these look good i will try them tommorow

  • thanx so much

  • I think this is very like the "boiled cookies" recipe I collected in nursing school 30-some years ago; the ingredients are the same except for the peanut butter, I just don't remember the proportions (the original recipe is long gone). But since mine was made without PB, I'd like to mention that in case people want to try it with just chocolate.

  • @kimadawest Hi! Thank you so much for watching and sharing this great tip that the recipe works without the peanut butter! I think I will try it that way next time. It would be a great way to satisfy a chocolate craving! Hope all is well your way! Thank you again! Hugs to you and yours...

  • wow i am going to try this, thanks

  • @bicepsca Thank you so much. I hope you will like these! Have a beautiful day my friend! Hugs...

  • Will you marry me?

  • blegh, these were AWFUL. the oats made them sooo dry. and there was way too much sugar, they were overly sweet.

  • @PopTVTeacher Happy New Year my dear friend! Thanks so much for stopping by. Hugs to you and yours...

  • Will these firm up without Peanut butter? I'd like to avoid it.

  • @tatri1 Hi! Thank you for stopping by! Yes, these should do fine without the peanut butter. It might not be as creamy, but it should work. I hope you will like them! Happy Holidays and hugs...

  • Hi why you name usafireandrescue? what does it mean?

  • @daddy567888 Hi. Thank you for watching and writing in. The name is confusing. My Mom runs the USA Fire & Rescue website and wanted to have a recipe section for Firefighters. One thing led to another and I ended up on camera demonstrating the recipes. The channel was supposed to be a tie-in with the website. Much to our surprise, we have grown and no longer focus stricitly on FF, but YT doesn't allow you to change your channel name. Thanks again for stopping by! Hugs...

  • now thats a milf

  • OMFG!!! that was so fast!

  • I've been making those for years and they are the bomb! Just make sure to use real vanilla, not the imitation kind.

  • @MyDadsRubberBroke Hi. Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I really appreciate it. Oh yes, real vanilla makes all the difference in the world. It's more expensive, but worth it! Have a great weekend. Hugs to you and yours...

  • @lU2BE2 Hi! Thanks so much for watching and writing in. Placing them in a baking pan really helps as these cookies set up so quickly... although I've been known to eat this straight out of the pan, ha ha! Shame on me. Thank you again for watching. Have a beautiful week ahead. Hugs...

  • Can i use regular chocolate instead of cocoa? Also, does this work in the microwave?

  • @MSaphrodite77 Hi! Thank you for watching. You could use 1/2 - 1 cup of chocolate chips instead of cocoa powder. You would just stir in the chips when you add the oats, peanut butter and vanilla. I've never made these in the microwave. A friend of mine did though. She put the first ingredients in the microwave for 2 mins, stirred and then another 2 mins. She said they turned out more gooey than the stove-top version. Have a beautiful day. Hugs.

  • These look really good :) thanks for showing us =D

  • @HerseysXAlmonds Hi! Thanks so much for watcing and writing in. Hope you can try these. So easy to make and delicious. Have a beautiful day. Hugs to you and yours...

  • @DonReedProductions Hi! Thanks so much for commenting! I love no bake cookies... fast, easy and you don't get the house hot with the oven. :-) Hope you can try this recipe. Have a beautiful weekend... hugs.

  • This has always been helpful to me whenever I'm craving for a really quick-cook cookie! They're delicious and just perfect whenever I have nothing to eat! It's perfect because I don't have to bake it anymore!

  • @ilovepepperoni Hi ilovepepperoni! Love your name... I love pepperoni too! :-) Thanks so much for writing in. I truly appreciate it. Quick-cook cookies are great, especially when you are craving something sweet. Hope you can try this recipe. It's so good. Have a beautiful weekend. Hugs to you and yours...

  • @cleric5643281472 Hi! Thanks so much for watching and writing in. I really appreciate it. I've never tried using regular oats, but a friend of mine did and she said it was delicious but a bit more dense and chewy than with the quick cooking oats. She also said she cut the amount to 3 cups of oats rather than 3 1/2 cups. These cookies are so addictive. I have a hard time not eating all of it! Thank you again for writing in. Have a beautiful rest of the weekend. Hugs...

  • do you have to use cocoa and peanut cant it just be oatmeal

  • @4fashionpassion1 Hi 4fashionpassion1! Thank you so much for watching and writing in. I've made this without the peanut butter before and it did great. I've never tried it without the cocoa though. I'm not sure what the taste would be like, but you could give it a try and see if just oatmeal works. Wishing you and yours a beautiful day! Hugs!

  • can I roll it in plastic wrap then freeze it and cut it in rounds? would freezing ruin the texture?

  • @PlatypusGuitar Hi! Thank you so much for writing in! This is an excellent question! I've frozen a lot of cookie batter before, but I've never tried freezing the no bake cookies. This mixture does set up very quickly, but it may work. I will have to try this next time and see what happens and see if the texture or taste changes any. Hope you had a beautiful Easter! Hugs!

  • Hi! Thanks so much for watching and writing in! Yes, this recipe will definitely work without the peanut butter. I actually found this out by accident. • Hi xMisty16! Thanks for watching and writing in. You shouldn't have to let it cool for too long... I've cut this while it was still warm. Just wait a few minutes for it to setup and to keep from getting burnt. Hope you can try this. It's so easy to make and really yummy! Hugs to you and yours!

  • hiyah!

and insted put 2 tablespoons of coffee or something??

  • Hi LOLmunch! How are you? Hope you are doing great! Thanks for writing in. I've only made this recipe with PB and chocolate, so I'm not sure about substituting coffee or anything else. I'm sorry. • i've tried this.. but why mine is so sticky?

  • Hi noccii. How are you? I hope you are well. I'm sorry to hear yours turned out sticky. The only thing I can figure is that you may need to cook it a little bit longer. I've always found that the longer you cook it, the drier it gets. Thank you again for watching and have a beautiful day!!!

  • can i use honey instead of sugar?

  • Hi HomicidalDrizzt. Thank you for watching. I've never substituted honey for sugar in this particular recipe. Depending on how sweet you want it, I would probably try 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups honey. Plus, you might need to reduce the liquid in the recipe. Also, I'm not sure how the honey will react to the high heat from boiling. It would be more like a trial and error.. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. Let me know if you try it. Hugs...

  • hi amy..added this video recipe on my vlog...ist recipe my dtr tried, without turning on our oven! haha...saved some kilowatt of elec. =) have a pleasant day♥

  • Implants..........................

  • As always, I enjoyed your video! Coincidentally, my son-in-law informed me yesterday that he would rather have my no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies for his birthday (which is in a couple of weeks), rather than cake. And then today, I just found your recipe for the very same cookie! I don't know if your ingredients are the same as mine--I'll have to check! Yours may sound better! Nice job on the cookies, Amy!

    Take care,

    Betty

  • Betty, how are you? Thank you so much for watching and writing in... I always love hearing from you! Your son-in-law doesn't want a cake? Ahhhhh... I'm sorry. It's fun making a cake and decorating it... although the last mini cake I made in the microwave caught on fire, LOL! That would have made a great blooper, ha ha! I bet we have the same no-bake cookie recipe! Aren't those things great? Love them! Best wishes to you and your family! Hugs....
