  • @flyvibe71 you mean 3 words? lol so true

  • My ex-wife's maiden name is Hunt. Guess I wasn't 'on the Hunt' as often as I should've been.

  • now let me say one thing momma.... OOO Sugar i do as I please

Im just like you baby im on the hunt

  • This is my favorite track off of nuthin fancy!!!!! Hell yea nice upload !!!!

  • SKYNYRD RULES on a whole nuth'r PLATFORM! Bands today don't live for the Music like SKYNYRD! Bands today are too distracted with phones & texting, comupters and ipods trying to "Appear Cool" instead of just Living for the Music... Living for the Music what does that mean? it means being there first & leaving last because its who you are, not something you Learn, its way deeper, a Way of Life, Never trying to be Famous just trying to make the best possible music for yourself and passing it on!

  • "LYNYRD SKYNYRD" RVZ and the Gang,.. Lives On Forever- in my Heart in my Ears and in my Eyes! Greatest Music on the Planet !!!!

  • This is probably one of the greatest, under-rated Skynyrd songs of all time. Thanks for posting. This is freakin Awesome!!

  • And don't worry folks, it doesn't take away from the originality of the band, just shows how good their taste in music was....

  • OK not taking anything away from Skynyrd, but who will finally have the balls to agree that this is a song based off of the Free song "Woman", Rossington definitely had a Kossoff guitar influence, try and deny after you listen to this:

  • @HoweKathandKeaggy yeh, not surprising. Gary had Kossoff in his blood, as Allen had Clapton in his. Good ears, by the way!!!

  • @thatJCguy thanks man, never really noticed that about Allen, I'll have to listen a little closer ;)

  • * * * * *

  • There's nothing like Skynyrd, Molly, Outlaws, M.Tucker Band, etc...But there's some kick ass music being made these days (alot from Texas/Oklahoma Red Dirt)....check it out....it aint that pussy ass hip hop country bullshit....shooter jennings, ragweed/the departed, jason boland, blue edmondson, band of heathens, blackberry smoke, jackson taylor.....etc....

  • Lynyrd Skynyrd Was Is And Always Will Be, With Me, My Entire Life.

  • the best band in the land

  • thats a horseee and a woman both of those things you ride.......

  • @MrMikeboy41 My Daddy told me baby a long time ago. Said there's a two things son, two things you must know. And in these two things you must take pride. That's a horseeeee and a woman yeah may both of them you RIDE! "The man was a genous" is what all who really KNEW him said about him. Said he never wrote anything down. Think about that. Ask any poet, lyracist, writer of any form. That's unheard of. Not possible, they'll say. Just you try to think of another greater song writer. I can't

  • BADASSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! LONG LIVE SKYNYRD!

  • Dude Possibly one of the greatest bands ever .. THEY ARE !!!!!!!!!!

  • Lynyrd Skynrd the best Southern Rock band there ever was and one of the best Rock bands ever. The talent here is unreal they will never cease to amaze me.

  • There will never be another band as great as Skynyrd!!

  • THE GOOD THING ABOUT THIS TUNE...IT PUTS BOTH MEN AND WOMEN ON A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD.

  • the album "Nuthin' Fancy was one of there best cept maybe the 1st one

  • SKYNYRD!!!!!

  • skynyrd..gimme a jack and coke

  • Can Southern Rock sound any better ? What a great riff.

But wait, dont I say this for most of their songs?

  • the best is skynard the old school one like this

  • I would love to know the story behind VanZant's T-shirt which read: "Who the f@#% are the Rolling Stones anyway?" that he wore while playing in concert. Does anyone know what prompted this? Is he picking a fight? Was there a rift between the two bands? Or is it just in fun as he did with Neil Young in Sweet Home Alabama?

  • @mreaganismyhero In the summer of '76, Lynyrd Skynyrd was one of the bands on the concert list at Knebworth, England. They played during a hot afternoon and by most accounts simply blew the crowd away with their music and talent. The Stones didn't even hit the stage until hours later but the crowd was still buzzing. Not long afterwards, the tee shirt came out with the words "Who the hell are the Rolling Stones". It was all in good fun. The Stones got the message.

  • @kilts4u2 That's always been a nice fable told about knebworth '76, but truth is the Stones went on late because of technical problems and the crowd was kinda pissed. The Stones rewarded them by playing extra long and rocked everyone silly. The Stones capped one of the greatest R&R days of all time. Skynyrd's great and they blew everyone that day, but don't let unfounded myths fester into another reality for you.

  • @1patrickhenry1 If you want to believe that "technical problems" kept the Stones from being on time, that's your perogrative. Perhaps. But the Stones were notoriously late for venues. I saw the Altamount tour in '72 at Auburn. Waited until 3am for them to come on. 4 hrs late. By then, most left was either asleep or wasted. There's no denial that the RS have earned their reputation as the world's greatest rock'n'roll band but on that day in '76, they were upstaged. How real is that?

  • @ Scott4152 ... totally agree!

  • Damn this is there best song, hands down!

  • @scott4152

that's funny i say that about every one of their songs.....hands down!

  • I still crank my Nuthin Fancy Cd....one of my favs...Thanks so much for the memories. "Let me say one thing Mama...I do as I please!!"

  • MY MEMORIES OF THIS TUNE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WOMEN..WE WERE SNIPERS ON A DEA CONTRACT....KILLING TO PROTECT OUR SOLDIERS.......THEY CALLED US......"LOOK..IT'S MURDER INCORPORATED."

BECAUSE I HAD A PARTNER.......I JUST WISH THEY COULD SEE THE TRUTH.

  • Nothin beats drivin american muscle and blastin some damn skynyrd.

  • Here in europe only a few people know them, apart from Sweet Home Alabama. Most underrated band ever, they were the best.

  • I always thought Skynrd was from Mushel Shoals Alabama??????

  • @1974sbest Jacksonville Florida is where they are from.

  • @1974sbest jacksonville

  • @1974sbest Nope...Muscle Shoals, AL (to which they famously paid tribute in "Sweet Home Alabama") was where they recorded their albums...but they were in fact from Jacksonville, FL...same place as other Southern Rock greats such as The Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchett and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.

  • @MrPamelanygard totally true, man, totally true.

  • @MrPamelanygard Don't forget Eddie King originally a California

southerner who played in Strawberry Alarm Clock with their one

hit wonder "Incense & Peppermint". Ed also was responsible for

  • A great song!!! We are all on the hunt!!!!

  • Truck time = Skynyrd time. Got a whole bunch of their cassettes in my pickup... WAY better than cd's since they dont skip when things get extra manly out on the trail.

  • @Galestinian I got a big ass red Ford F250 pick em up truck!

  • So where is my fucking post??????

  • Excellent man. That is the greatest selection of photos I have ever seen. And the song rocks, and tells the truth on poloticians. I'm gonna play it again.

  • SO SAD, WHAT A LOSS

  • This is an awesome video. LOVE the photos. Yes, Allen did write this. One of the great songs they've done.

  • Collins did write the music to this, not King. King does claim in several sources that Collins wrote this after being inspired by the main riff of "Workin' For MCA" which King did write. They're very similar riffs and both in the same key of B and for as much as I admire and like King's playing and writing, I have to admit that Collins outdid him on this tune. Rossington's guitar work on this cut is his best if you ask me. Yes it wreaks of Kossoff and fans used to chant "Koss Lives!" at Gary.

  • @mrsgstd i'm going to be throwing this in a set i love the riffs all of them lots of Ghost bends in skynyrd Love it taught me a lot.Hope these youngins I play with will like it.

  • top notch

  • Great Tune and a great shot of Ronnie at 5:30 wearing the Neil Young 'Tonights The Night' T-shirt.

  • @amylinnlevi i agree with your comment thats all.

  • at 13 seconds gotta love that shirt! who the fuck are the rolling stones anyway? ~ rip ronnie ~ mick aint got nuthin on you

  • @javaman64 Hey sweet man thanks for pointing that out! Good stuff. Though I will keep saying until it is discussed, they had good taste in music, including British. Proof positive is the fact that they "borrowed" from Free's "Woman". Though I will never call it stealing, just good influences, and their version of a song in the style of Free.

  • the most underrated song they've ever produced

  • Thank You Lynyrd Skynyrd for giving us these kind of songs...You will always be in our hearts...Ronnie, Steve, Allen and Leon are gone on now but the music will never die! WE WON'T LET IT

  • NICE

  • FEELING MUCH BETTER zAVROL****Your partner in crime"

  • COLLINS,ROSSINGTON GAINES IT DONT GET NO BETTER.

  • @gregfarleyeverst69 this is the epitimy of southern rock

  • @gregfarleyeverst69 gaines didnt play onthis its ed king

  • @gregfarleyeverst69 It is actually Collins, Rossington and King. Ed King was replaced by Stevie Gaines after the band's Nythin' Fancy album. Ed King wrote the music for this, too. Can't get any better than that, anyway.
