  • wow, look at how boxing was then and 20 years ago, so many good matches. Boxing was so much more interesting back then, today it sucks. Its so bad that i would like to watch cricket instead of boxing.

  • While watching this Im thinkin to myself... "DO THE SHUFFLE!!!" xD Very Good Match:)

  • "I've done wrestle an aligator, Tustled with a whale, Handcuffed lightning & thrown thunder in jail. Only last week I murdered a rock, injuried a stone, hospitalized a brick, I'm so mean I make medicine sick." - Muhammad Ali.

  • it's such a polite fight :P

  • sometime people just get on my nerves, the last thing two exhausted fighters need is to be surrounded by a huge crowd, causing more heat and taking up more air, get the fuck out of the ring!

  • LOL, that Left Joe threw at 1:26 woulda knocked Ali's head off his shoulders LOL!!

  • great stuff good work rate both men to the end.

  • Lol Larry Merchant.

  • what is oj simpson doing there??

  • Oh, there's no question...it's not even argueable. Muhammad Ali is the greatest and best heavyweight champ in history.

No fighter ever fought as many quality opponents as Ali. The heavyweight division, during Ali's time, had far more talent than at any other time, and Ali fought them all, and beat them all.

  • So true. Two great men in this fight who gave it their all. Very sad that this era will never be replicated.

  • ali the greatest ? HAHAHAHAHA great joke

  • @Beteje92 He might not be the greatest technical boxer, but people like him for what he did outside the ring. And instead of laughing at him, take a second and reflect on what you have done with your life. Ali did more in ten seonds of a simple boxing round than what you could do your entire life..

And the 1967 Ali was the greatest, fastest, quickets and most beautiful fighter out there

  • @Beteje92

    yes Greatest, fuck off

  • notice how Ali is fair play? Never hit the other guy when they're stuck to each other... never tries to hurt Frazier in a lousy way, when they're in each others arms... True player, real sportsman.

  • @mhatthei id disagree hes just smart he waits to use his energy on vital shots

  • Ali won yay

  • 8:29

    Cigarette smoking man

  • Quite boring boxing match.

  • @JoseJalopeno1 i bet you've never been in a fight in your life.

  • @dangmonkey1 Lennox Lewis - Tyson match had much more energy and power (and remember Tyson wasn't anymore in his best shape on those matches).

  • ufffffffffff toda una leyenda!!

  • Rocky I jajajaja

  • MIEWHAMED ALI! What a dweeb announcer!

  • Wasn't a terribly exciting bout.

  • the news was bush league back then lol

  • You won't agree but Ali was nothing more than a overhyped slapper, Frazier had one punch, Foreman moved at the speed of a glacier, Marciano had no skill, Louis was... well actually he was good! If Klitchko was around back then, you blindly nostalgic laymans would think he was a legend. P.s he's not.

  • That was boxing!! Not that shit they play now!

  • @bangitslo You don't sound too bright anyway. Ali didn't win anymore than 5 or 6 rounds of the '71 fight.

  • Frazier ko ali

  • Frazier clearly won the fight. howard cowsell really pissing me off talking SHIT! he just completely sucks Ali's arse hole, alot of these Ali flurries of like 6 7 punches are not really landing, only i would say 2 or 3 not 6 or 7 like cosell was making out. Ali misses a lot in the flurries. and the fast jabs are not all landing as smoke is bobbing and weaving constantly.

  • frankly, i had it perfectly even, with frazier winning 4,5,7,8,10,12 and ali winning 1,2,3,6,9,11

  • 11th close, draw ? 12th Frazier. If you think Ali won 12th with the hyperbole you don't know boxing. A quick flash is there to fool you. Were you fooled ? lol Strong argument Frazier won the fight. The MOST significant shots were landed by Frazier. Good fight, seen for the upteenth time.

  • @1saxonwolf This was a very good fight by both fighters,I had Ali winning the 11th and 12th,he was simply too fast for Joe.

  • The murderer OJ is on here, lol

  • I had Ali winning the fight 8rds-4. Ali just had a way better game plan this time around. Joe looked like his career was pretty much over, no where close to being as intense as he was in the first. Alot less power on his punches. Foreman prob beat whatever fight joe had left out of him.

  • Joe showin' some class!

  • man when ali moved and danced in the ring nobody could beat him.

  • ali winner? WTF!!!

  • Ten komentator jest beznadziejny.

  • Frazier's face looked battered, they seem pretty effect punches.......Joe!

  • GIVE ME SOME PROTECTION PLEASE!! LMAO HIS VOICE IS TO FUNNY

  • the killer OJ

  • Comment removed

  • think anyone else but frazier would fall! at least in the last round! wholy shit! some mean bombcombos by ali!

  • As I saw document with guys all over around Ali, and Frazier, I found out, that Ali had something strange in his mind, and personnaly I don't think he is a cool guy.

I must say his punches are very accurate, but Frazier has punch like "horse". in this match both guys don't contend, they want to beat each other to possibly death.

did u know, that Frazier was amlmost blind to left eye since 1964 or 1965? and he almost beat Ali 2 times of 3...Ali had PR, Frazier was true sportman.

  • @cobychnikdynesezral bro, Ali is the GREATEST, period.

  • @AwesomeMB7Cowboy and ain't nobody topping him PERIOD!!

  • wtf somethign strange in his mind? what motivation, ambittion, the mind of a winner? you dont even say what it is cause its plain bull shit.

  • Thanks for a great vid. And fuck off wiggling OJ.

  • muhamad ali quaeda

  • smoken jose face looks bad

  • Clinching & holding are a part of fighting. If you don't know how to wrestle the opponent he's going to out wrestle you and tire you out, case and point Ali vs Foreman. Another good example is Sugar Ray Leanord vs Hearns 1. Hearns didn't have any of those infighting skills and got KO'd in the 14th when Leanord got him against the ropes.

But if you make a PLAN of holding on and clinching, that's a good way to loose your teeth, or get disqualified, loose points, etc. By the way MMA fights seem

  • Its all about his footwork.

  • Both great men and great champions. I wish Joe and Ali would bury the hatchet before it is too late.

  • nice name "Boxing a tit's best"

    :p

    nyway nice bout

  • i scored this fight 9 - 3 to ali. when ali is in good shape he doesnt really lose. he always performed better when he was lighter and slimmer. the extra weight after the foreman fight did no good to him.

  • joe frazier thinks he won. he must be an imbecile.

  • Two very poor bums in a backyard fight...

  • very poor performance from joe fraizer. i only gave him 1 round. ali clearly won at least 9 rounds. i counted the punches very carefully. i included fraizer's bodyshots as well. ali clearly scored more punches. no question about that.

  • What people don't know is that Frazier invited Ali to clinch. Frazier used the clinches to rest. People need to stop making excuses for Frazier with the clinches. Ali outboxed him and won 9 rounds easily. Frazier won 4 rounds at BEST. Theres a reason why Frazier came out firing wildly in the 12th round, he knew he was loosing badly and needed a knockout. Lopsided win for Ali.

  • Ali,,,is cheating!!!!!...breaking the rules...hanging..all..over Smoking Joe's neck...Ali should be ashamed..of himself!!!!

  • @bangitslo

I scored the first fight 8-6-1 and this one 8-4 for Ali.

  • thanks for letting me know who won, i didnt wanna be suprised.

  • Does anybody know why Ali will just hold Frazier's held in like a held lock?

  • comparing ali to frazier is so stupid, ali is dictating his fight in every match that s why is the all timer. i more understand his famous quote about his style after watching this.

  • I don't always care for how 'beyond sympathetic' Cosell is toward Ali, but he is absolutely right that Ali had a great chin, and that that is an element to his success that is often overlooked. I also agree that neither fighter in this fight looked even near as good as in their first match (which I regard as one of boxing's all-time classics -- top 5). Also, as has been repeatedly pointed out, MA's incessant hanging on JF's neck mars the fight & should've been stopped from round 1.

  • Ever see Lennox Lewis fight Henry Akinwande back in the 1990's? Akinwande decided he didn't want to be in there even before the fight started, spent round after round grabbing Lewis in every exchange. Referee Mills Lane warned him multiple times to start fighting, to no effect. Lane finally disqualified Akinwande, who criminally still got his purse for the bout. Ali's holding here wasn't nearly in that class, but it sure as hell was worth some early warnings, then deductions if he persisted.

  • How much skill does it take to clinch someone? Anyone with two arms and decent upper body strength can do it. Amazing how the referee, judges and media gave Ali a free pass on turning a 12-round professional fight into a 4-round hug-fest. How many warnings and deductions do you think 130 clinches should merit in the scoring of this fight? Joe never clinched once. And if George Foreman couldn't keep Joe on the canvas eight times, what makes anyone think Ali had the strength to do it?

  • stay there, stay there baby, stay there ^^

  • Cosell was disgusting !!

  • Toufuckingche XavierMarciano. Ali looked like the Dean of the "Andre Durrell School of Holding/Clinching/Holding Around Neck..."Oh, & we also saw the famous dancing durrell technique mixed in. Perez was WIDELY criticized 4 allowing outrageously excessive holding/neck grabbing, etcfckngcetera, every fcking round. Didn't want to absorb punishmnt as in 71 - the 1st fight when Joe Smoked his fuckin, bigmouth ass.

  • It would have been 2nd round knockout if the referee didn't save smokin joe.

  • ha Ali is smart he out smart him and win on decision.

  • 4:00 so true, sooo true

  • joe frazier should've won

  • @rocketman2442 But he didn't. He's just lucky, as the white man's BOY, that Tony Perez saved him from the KO he was on the way of getting, in the 2nd round.

  • @Soulblackman How dare you call Joe Frazier the white man's BOY, Joe Frazier was as black as it got. He came from a very humble crop growing family. On the other hand Ali came from an upper middle class family. Oh yes lets look at Fraziers corner, there's three black men in that corner. On Ali's corner there's two white men. It's a shame Ali conned ignorant fools like yourself into believing that Frazier represented the white populace. You should be ashamed of yourself.

  • @XavierMarciano So, being POOR, makes on BLACK? Frazier, because he wasn't forced to take a stance vs. "Nam, was, whether he liked it or not, the white man's BOY! He was the "anti-Ali", the GOOD BOY, who would have GLADLY killed "them VietCong". In II, Ali had Frazier GOING, so Perez, "suddenly" heard the "bell", that NO ONE to this day, heard. There was NO WAY they were going to let Ali KO their BOY, even if it meant IMAGINARY BELLS.

  • @Soulblackman Your nothing more than an extremist muslim, your the "boy", your the slave, slave to your religon Islam, it clouds every judgement you make, if frazier was Muslim you would have exhaulted his praises. I have seen your page, talk about an extremist. Your one Muslim rally away from being a suicide bomber. How did the ref "SAVE" Frazier, from a knockdown maybe!! What you don't think Frazier would have got up!! He got up six times against Foreman. Get real you idiot.

  • @XavierMarciano There is NO WAY Perez heard a damn bell; like I said, Frazier, whether he liked it or not, WAS the anti-Ali, thus the white man's BOY! Suicide bomber? Ur a FOOL, who can't defend his position! Even if Frazier had gotten up, he STILL had to be protected. Now, since we're on FOREMAN, there was a pt. where he was going for the kill [again], and Mercante, inexplicably pulled him off. you can see Saddler going ballistic over that. Frazier HAD to be protected, as he was their boy.

  • @XavierMarciano And by the way, you're nothing more than a white supremacist, who loves to defend his BOYS. IF Frazier was Muslim, you'd be slinging arrows at him, similar to what you're trying to do now. Furthermore, I'm ALWAYS amazed at how many people visit my page. Hell, I rarely go there myself. I don't go to yours, because you're NOT worth it. Get it? As good of a fighter Frazier was, the fact remains, he can NEVER be considered in the class of Ali, because he did NOT fight heavy hitters

  • @XavierMarciano Shavers, Williams or Lyle. He ONLY had 37 fights, to Ali's 72, and then the FOOL gloats about what HE did to cause Ali's eventual and existing health conditions. So, go back and glorify your BOY! I'll keep him in proper perspective.

  • @XavierMarciano

Strange,I've never heard of any household that contained a sign painter and a domestic houseworker being described as being "upper middle class".

You clearly don't have the slightest of clue of what upper middle class is do you?

  • @rocketman2442 Why? As the commentators said and WE ALL SAW IT happen, Frazier´s face was used as target practice in this fight. No excuses for Joe, he lost to a better boxer that night, not to mention the referee saved Frazier from being knocked out by Ali in the 2nd round.

  • The Juice He was playing then

  • Ali won the fight hands down!

  • Ali whooped his butt...

  • oj just makes me laugh, i don't know why!!

  • i kno joe won da first won ali won dis one who one da last one ?

  • @krayziebonejr ali won the 3rd

  • Joe won this fight but referees was blind

  • @BlackSiegesmund What the are you talking about are you blind??Ali whipped the chump!!!!

  • Stay there!

  • After a marathon of punches, artful dancing, Ali shuffling like a rockstar in the 12th and last round! Simply amazing. GOAT! Greatest of all time!

  • Ali held illegally way to much but the ref probs didnt warn him. Considering hes an outside boxer he couldve stepped away (especially in the first few rounds when he had lots of energy) and joe fraizer lol couldve counter punched ali every time he ducked with strong hooks to the kidney or stiff jabs but besides tht i very gd fight real barnburner ;) but im probz wrong cos these guys are some of the best boxer of all time so i should probz shut up XP

  • this man is damn tough man really all rocks!!!

  • Great fight ! I enjoy watching every fight of Ali!

  • Ali's coach has nest on his head..lol

  • lol @4:32-4:38

  • R1 ali holds 11 times, R2 ali holds 6 times, R3 ali holds 10 times, R4 ali holds 12 times, R5 ali holds 12 times, R6 ali holds 11 times, R7 ali holds 14 times, R8 ali holds 14 times, R9 ali holds 13 times, R10 ali holds 13 times, R11 ali holds 13 times, R12 ali holds 13 times. I have checked this three times, Im not wrong. In total thats 142 illegal holds by ali, without warning, points deduction, disqualification. Its disgraceful how much ali holds, love to here what ali fans have to say on it.

  • @XavierMarciano

he shouldv'e been havin a point deducted. he still wouldv'e won. but in boxing just keep holding unless the ref warns u. lol

  • @XavierMarciano ---a certain amount of holding is tolerated by the refs, even though he breaks them. Almost every fighter holds at some point. Very seldom does a fighter get penalized for holding. It was part of Ali's style when fightin a puncher, as was his style of dancing and moving around. But as howard said, they were both clearly past their primes at this point

  • @XavierMarciano True, its just destroying the fight. no infighting one time..

  • @XavierMarciano oh u know how it is! ali is the greatest because he says so, so he must be. No Ali is not the greatest. he's great but overrated. howard cosell really pisses me off in this fight, just sucking Ali's arse hole. Joe clearly wins. You know i don't think Ali ever beat Frazier. and yeah the holding is discusting.

  • @ayresy89 I agree, totally, mate! I have a book called "The One Hundred Greatest Boxers", and the author had Ali at number one, POUND FOR POUND! Better than Ray Robinson, no less. This is the type of shit we deal with. Ali was great, but so was Frazier, and the Ali fans never forgave Joe for kicking Ali's ass in the first fight. Now nobody can suggest that Ali isn't the number one ever. My call is Joe Louis, but Ali is untouchable to many. Pisses me off, big time!

  • @dicktiger68 yeah! i also put Joe Louis 1) as greatest heavyweight! i don't get it when people put any heavyweight really infront of the brown bomber.

  • @ayresy89 Jack Johnson was better. Maybe even Sam Langford.

  • @Soulblackman I have seen two of your other comments made, and what you don't seem to understand, which shows how little you know about these two fighters and how ignorant these comments are, is that Ali was very clever and for him to call Joe an uncle tom was extremely stupid, and so one with interest, facts and an understanding for these two fighters can only conclude that Muhammad was talking nonsense, shit, to shock and build their fights up. This talk was an act, Ali confirms this himself.

  • @ayresy89 YET, there was a hint of bitter truth to what Ali said, which is why, to nearly the end, Frazier, wracked with a sense of inferiority and resentment, HATED Ali.

  • @Soulblackman

How do you think black Philadelphia felt about own of their own in Joe Frazier openly declaring his support for Frank Rizzo? As I understand,Rizzo was a very unpopular figure among blacks within Philadelphia.

  • @tapiaassasin That's a good question. I never got any sense of that, but I would guess, because he was respected, he was given somewhat of a pass on that. Hell, Rizzo was tough with anyone in Philly; ask the white fireman who got beaten up by a cop, during Rizzo's regime. And then again, you have to wonder how black people in Philly, receive Wilson Goode, for his justifying the bombing of MOVE.

  • @ayresy89

The fact that "you dont get" why somebody would place another fighter ahead of Louis in an all time heavyweight list is an clear cut evidence of how foolish and ignorant you are.If you cant see why people would place Ali,who's overall level of competition faced takes one giant dump over Louis and his resume then there really is no helping you.

  • @tapiaassasin haha you just said to me " Ali, who's overall level of competition faced takes one giant dump over Louis and his resume" shows just how ignorant you are.

  • @ayresy89

No,it's simply common knowledge.Louis level of competition was generally solid with the odd elite level heavyweight(walcott and schmeling) but that was it.Ali's resume speaks for it self, and the fact that he was able to beat the level of competition that he did while an obviously diminished fighter in the 70's speaks volumes of how good he was.Now explain to me why this doesnt compare to louis and why there isnt a single credible argument to be made for ali being rated over louis.

  • @tapiaassasin i love Ali. did some great things out of the ring, i'd place him at 2 or 3 as greatest heavyweight. but as far a boxing skills go i think he was a little overrated. i don't need to justify why i put louis as greater boxer than Ali, there is always going to be this argument ali or louis, louis ali. brown bomber or louisville lip, yea whatever! different eras, they are the greatest, i place Joe Louis Barrow at NO. 1 heavyweight, you might put Ali as NO.1 heavyweight end.

  • @ayresy89

You stated that "you dont get why" anyone would put another heavyweight in front of louis.whether you rate Louis as the greatest heavyweight isnt the issue here; it's the fact that you're so dismissive of any other fighter being placed in front of him,as if Louis was unquestionably the greatest heavyweight and that there isnt a single credible argument to be made for Ali or anybody else being placed above him.

  • @tapiaassasin Plus, until late in his career, Louis did not fight black boxers. Louis had greater power than Ali, but his slower foot speed would have put him at a great disadvantage. Just think about how Billy Conn, who would have been champ, had he not gotten careless, handled Louis.

  • @ayresy89 Ali OWNED Frazier in this fight. And to his dying day, Frazier HATED the fact that Ali WHUPPED the man that WHUPPED him like a spoiled child.

  • @Soulblackman Okay, and how do you know that joe hated the fact? this fight is a farse, and i think you will find if you actually watch and score this fight, joe lands alot more convincing shots to the body and head then Ali actually lands, oh and not to mention the 100 + foul holding ali does. i also think you should find, styles makes fights. joe didn't hate the fact foreman whupped him. Joe gave foreman all the credit for it. would ali give foreman another chance, oh no he wouldn't.

  • Ali was the clear winner - don't know what the argument was .....

  • @AIMANALI --yeah, Joe didnt protest too much afterwards.

  • Too be honest i like ali as much as the next guy but all he did throughout this was grapple everytime he was in the corner, he defo feared fraziers power

  • oh snap its oj simpson!

  • @bangitslo "Most writers and ringside observers", eh? And from where do you get that?

  • @bangitslo Have to disagree with you big time. Frazier put on an amazing performance in the '71 fight and deserved the win. Ali won some big rounds but Frazier was just not going to be beaten that night. He was even taunting Ali and getting away with it and making Ali miss. He was busier, more aggressive, and the 15th round knockdown capped it. Considering Ali was naturally bigger, stronger, and faster, I think Frazier's performance was heroic. I love Ali, but Frazier kicked his ass in '71.

  • @zapboook dunno about kicked his arse but yeah he did win. soem of that was clearly down down to ali beign out for 3 years and gettign older. he was no where near his prime. and i woudl say joe is stronger as whole than ali. ali was just bigger and faster

  • 'Can we get some pretection PLEASE' *Guy comes running out with condoms*

  • These guys were two great champions.

  • ali's shuffle is so fast, I love it

  • Oj killed innocent people and God retributed him.

  • So how many times can one boxer hold the other one behind the head without a point deduction?

  • OJ...murder.

  • Why does the idiot OJ wiggle when he talks? What a fucking faggot.

  • @GETole

because OJ has a dick in his ass,it lets him shake and wiggle

  • @GETole Word

  • At 3:30 is the 'i' upside down?

  • Boxing lesson by Ali.

  • hmm this was posted three months ago.. hopefully you are getting the help you need now

  • Like usually : 3 arrows of Ali for 1 big left of Frazier.

  • I think it's abvious that ali was better ,, not the 'greatest ' like when he fought terrel or williams but he was good.

Buy the way SUPER VIDEO MAN ! thnx

  • @bestlions He won the fight!yes, but remember, he didn't get pressured by williams or terrel like frazier did. Who know's what would have happend to Ali if he met a fighter like Frazier in '67!We'll never know really. All we know is Ali beat Quarry and Bonevena,,some people say that wasn't enough! Who the heck was he supposed to fight to prepare for Frazier!.the only way was to fight Frazier!,,and he lost! He thought he could beat him march 8th but he was wrong! Frazier was right! That's it!

  • Yes but what I mean is that ali was in topcondition when he was younger. If he would have fought frazier in 67 he would won thats for sur !

  • @bestlions Oh really?? Do I have your word on that?? All of these "if's" and "but's"!! "but if Ali would have fought him in "67"!!"..yea...and if frog's had wings they wouldn't bump their ass when they jumped..

  • @pakee64 yes and IF you would be in front of me i would knock you down

  • @bestlions I agree. I think the scoring was biased towards Frazier in both the 1st and 2nd fights. Not that I don't think Frazier won the 1st, but he didn't "dominate" like so many say he did. Ali never gets the big punches in but he is pummeling Frazier with the jab all day long.

  • @bestlions Ali's fight vs. Williams can only be described as a piece of art, a flawless exhibition of boxing skill.

  • @bestlions

    abvious............

  • without a doubt Muhammad Ali won this bout he hit so many punches compared to their 1st bout

  • THT F>CKNG sucks the ref kept pulng thm aprt evey tme they evn strted to tie up,BS! Tht is tking awy frm the flow of the fght and also tking awy from JOE and how he wld cme in close and hit body blows(thts prt of how he fghts!) Thts like if the ref pushed thm tgther every time Ali strted hitting frm the otside F.I.X.E.D,.It is a shame becse we will nver knw who wld have won tht imprtnt 2nd fight .

  • Ali landed ridiculously more shots than Frazier. In a number of rounds Frazier failed to land a head shot and Ali landed about 20. In terms of power punches, Ali landed a number of meaty left and right jabs, regular combinations. To me 6-4-1 by round 11 looked generous, Frazier apparently won round 3 with 1 body shot and work rate.

If the round is dead even, work rate and body shots come into it, not if one fighter has landed significantly more head shots.

  • As i spent last month watching over all ALI's fights and also Joe's and Foreman's i must say Joe had one WICKED LEFT HOOK :))

Foreman is probably one of most powerful punchers ever while ALI's speed of legs, hands and brain made him GOAT

  • This is the first time I heard Larry Merchant´s name... I mean, the earliest time, 1974... Larry was a young guy, and coming through the ranks, and when Cosell died, he was his heir... as Lampley is Merchant´s heir...

But Merchant´s score of Ali-Frazier I was wrong. Close fight, but 8-7 Frazier.

  • there are 2 types of fighters..."to hit and not be hit" fighter, and the "not be hit and hit" fighter. u can match it up rite, boxing has been this way since the early 20's. and it wont change, if u fight in the inside, ur jaw bettr be bouncing up and down trying to not got hit.

  • The number of punches landed is hardly an accurate criteria for the winner in professional boxing. Ali landed way more punches in the first fight but this did not change the fact Frazier's punches did more damage. Syrandon wins the all time foot in mouth award for ignorantly calling Frazier a coward, a man who got off the canvas eight times against Foreman, and had to be stopped from fighting Ali blind in the 15th in Manila. And why, Anikin, does Frazier deserve the Uncle Tom label?

  • Sportshistorybuff...Seems to me,,any black man that works hard,,tries to get along with all the people he meets thoughout the day,,is not a racist,,follows the law's of the land,,,is certainly up for the "uncle tom" award..that's my take from my observations in my life...

  • Largely and sadly true.

  • i said before he cant box. he won the last cause ali wa dead for 3 years , thast alot of time for a boxer

  • hahahha...is everyone still making excuses for that uncle tom frazier....let me give evryone the facts

Frazier - 1 win by UD Ali - 1 win by UD and 1 win by TKO......therefore ALI > frazier

  • yeh ali landed a lot more punches FACT,thats why he won dumb dumbs

  • still i think ali didnt look that strong and superieur as he was it was an even match joe with the harder punches

  • @TonyCeylan frazier barely touches ali FACT,look at how many punches ali lands

  • yea maybe on points he won but if u look if u look at it as just a fight joe wasnt worse then ali

  • The fight was the fight. The decision was the decision. The two were not related.

  • judging the decision was interdependent with the fight, then it must be related to it.

  • Seems Ali was winning rounds on a few jabs, many of which missed, and lots of holding. Perez gave him over 100 warnings for holding behind the neck without taking a single point away. Just one of many officiating gifts he received in his career.

As an aside to that Cosell was completely clueless when it came to boxing. Poor chap didn't even know what he was watching half the time.
