@85Cordell Wow, I think its cool that you like Warren. His first album with Join Me In LA is probably my favorite. But there is alot of great stuff throughout all his work.
@85Cordell Warren holds a special place but I have so many musicians I love to listen to that I can't limit myself to just a couple or one. I first heard Warren in 1977 on that first Album Frank and Jesse James and Join Me In LA actually brought me to LA.
@85Cordell: 1976, self-titled. Jackson Browne produced it and the lineup was a who's who from the Southern Cal music scene... And the result was nothing short of amazing.
@85Cordell TOUGH question! I've always liked Excitable Boy a lot. Such a range of songs... from switching yards, to werewolves- wars- $- bands- lawyers, and of course, Johnny! :)

@85Cordell I'd say: THE WIND. Is full of a peaceful sadness in the music and all of the songs are written out of the same fabric!
Although I believe there are great albums in his discography, that one has something special.
