When the lanes hook a lot you wanna go with a ball that HOOKS? Hmmm??? Not sure about that. Thought it was the exact opposite.

I can see his point. You can use the hooking ball to open up the lane and go with what the lane's telling you to do.
Otherwise, you'd be trying to force the ball to go straight on hooking lanes, and you'll have much less margin for error.

It is the exact opposite. If they hooking out of control, you go with a ball that doesn't hook as much, so you can control it. Otherwise, you'll be all over the place.
