I miss the good old days when an American car was considered a status symbol. Notice also that the singer is wearing a dollar sign pin. Sadly , that would not work today. For those of you who care, Cadillacs looked like this from '77 thru '79. The checkerboard grille marks this one as a '79. In my humble opinion, this was the last of the cool Caddies. After this they became boxy and weak-engined. I like how, at the end of the video, the singer crumbles to dust, yet the Caddy keeps going strong.
