God, i played it, it sucks. I do like the new addition and it is showing it is real Mario Party but everything is gone, no coins, no stars (only mini ones) boss battles that you don't die, just have to get a lot of points, not my mario party fun. Hudson, you should have stepped up and took your Mario Party development place back! Please make a Mario Party 3D and YOU Work on it! Not these developers! I gotta say, for a first Mario Party game those new developers made, they did a good job.

@violatorTL well hudson softs last mario parties sucked...like mario party 7 & 8....they lost there touch,....and my opinion is that mario party 9 is good and a step in the right direction.....cause hudson soft made 7 & 8 and they were bad they would likely still keep it sucky.....

THIS is mario party. THIS screams mario in every way. This is so going to better than 8 which had no mention of a mario game in the mini games or even board themes. This is not going to be some lousy random party game with mario playable characters, this is going to BE a real mario game. I haven't been this excited for a mario party game since i think all the way back to the first 3, somewhere in that trio of awesomeness.

I think i might like the factory board or lava board the most of the original 5 and the minigames i'm looking the most forward to playing so far are Snow Go, Speeding Bullets, Flinger Painting, Pinball Fall, the 1 vs 3 minigame where the one player has to attack the three players with electricity, fire and wind and the bowser jr minigame where you must knock him into the electricity

While they did change it with a overhaul, it remains to be a great Party game. I already uploaded few parts of walkthrough, and the game is very Luck-Based.

MP8, I can agree it was decent. With your "hope", it's true as it really surpasses by MP8.

Some people that have played some of this game said they really liked it, a German Magazine gave it a 75% for single player and 85% for multiplayer and Nintendo Power gave it a 8/10 so it sounds like its gonna be a really good game

Bad news guys. I just read the review of this game by Official Nintendo Magazine and they say that travelling in the car is compulsory, and that there is no classic mode. They do go on to give it a glowing review. They think the car will give the series the kick up the backside it needed. But for me I am a little disappointed, the car looks cool and it is something I would try ,but I think always having to travel in it will become frustrating. But I am a loyal fan so I will probably buy it.
