  • Where do you get all these killer drum kits? Are you a collector? I see you are a musician, but even though you are a badass player, I'm guessing you have a day job to buy all these badass kits.

  • Wow that is a great sounding drumkit. I didn't think a 14 X 8 would handle a medium tuning that well. I think I'm gonna have to get my hands on one soon. Also, how do you like that 24 X 16? I intend on getting a drum that size soon.

  • How much are those worth?

  • wow, fantastic playing. very locked in and groovy. oh hey, nice drums, too!

  • What are you using to record with. Camera and mic? Sounds really solid

  • Oh my, that hi hat groove at 0:44 is amazing! Dig it!

  • @Superjeremiah94 This groove is like the "Rosanna" 's shuffle. A song by Toto. Try "Rosanna's shuffle" on youtube....

  • good god, that kick is huge..... i love it

  • that's a fantastic groove kit!

  • very good drummer, but I do not like too much the tuning that you apply ... may sound better much better. Greetings!

  • Just curious - what heads are you using? I have the same kit and sizes, but you've really brought out their best sound.

    Thanks!

  • @gregford2006 remo emperor clear

  • NICE........THANKS BRO!!!!!

  • my has an old 80s tama superstar and its made of birch. except his has 6 toms and two 24 inch bass drumms.

  • is that crash you hit on the other kit ? lol.

  • Wow. I want to come round to your house.

  • Only in the last couple of decades have people started to realise it was American market and opinion that kept Japanese instruments on a budjet level. Americans didn't trust Japanese quality, even though the The Japanese had hundreds of years of woodcraft behind them. Many late 70's, 80's and early 90's Japanese instruments are quality.. JAPAN SAYS: "Thank you for that bomb America. here's some quality instruments for your musicians." AMERICA SAYS:"Thanks slit eye, but they aint worth shit."

  • omg i have that same exact set, can you please tell me what wood these are made out of?

  • MADDD SKILLS

  • Ahhh the power tom era. Loved it! Great kit brother.

  • i got me a 5 piece set of these last week in natural super maple finish. they sound great. came with imperial star steel snare. its so good! and yeah nice shuffle.

  • @brendanvdrums i just bought a super maple 5 piecec as well, superb arent they? just need that 10" tom!

  • Honestly, the superstars with the power depth toms make Dw drums sound like toys. So much power...Tama brought the thunder!

  • Lovely drums - I was one of the last to import the Superstar Super Mahogany timbales into the UK. My kit was 1981 - still got it and use it to this day, and it looks like new - nearly 30 years old!!

  • definently sounds better than ur DW even without mics

  • what kind of drumheads do you got ?

  • up for sale?

  • nice :D

  • Great playing, but, I don't know whether its the sound quality or just me, but these drums sound sort of cardboard box like. I'm sure they sound better in real life

  • Are you paid to advertise these or something? where do you get all these drums?

  • smooth playing... you got the groove ;)

  • Pretty f-ing sweet!

  • i love how you incorporated the hip hop-ish beats into the soloing this is great stuff man

  • who is this guy? his style is nearly a cut copy of mine... style thief! lol

  • Absolutely!

  • great sounding kit!

  • Tama started making great drums about 1978 when the superstars were born. Great shells, great hardware. No need for exotic woods of inflated prices. They were just great drums, and still are.

  • @Acrylicdrums Tama started making great drums when they took over Camco with DW

  • I love how he reaches back to hit that cymbal lol. Thats cool man nice stuff

  • I have a Pearl G series 8 ply Maple 6 piece from 1981, made in Japan also. Best drums Pearl ever made in my opinion. Not to mention the shells have aged so nicely, lots of warm low end thunder.

  • skillz

  • it says 24 in the description...

  • man that rocked i love the drumset and the playing especially that little hihat part awesome man!!

  • That's only a 24" kick? Looks like a 26" to me.. Maybe 'cause it's raised off the ground a little

  • I love your kit!

I have an identical 5 piece kit but, unfortunately the finish is in rough shape

  • Its like a room full of awesome.

  • thats awsome

  • freakin insane!!! keep it rockin

  • what heads do you typically use on your dw drums? for the toms

  • lol you can tell it's from the 80's straight away!

  • Killer early 70s tone !! Superb playing too.
