I REMEMBER ADAM SAYING IN AN INTERVIEW THAT THE PRODUCERS OF THESE SONGS ASKED HIM TO SING "A CERTAIN WAY" AND TO IMITATE OTHER SINGERS....NOT HIS STYLE...THAT'S WHY IT DOESN'T SOUND THAT MUCH LIKE HIM.

judging by some of these songs on Take One.. he couldn't definitely sing country if he wanted to. just sayin... i much prefer his rock edge and i agree that he shouldn't do country but it's not that he's incapable.. he can do anything!!! he's Adam

Adam's definitely the best singer in the music industry. He can sing anything and make it sound AMAZING! He could make "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" a number one hit single I bet.

Actually for some reason I love all these pre-idol songs of Adam. I was on the billboard just about few minutes before I came here and his FYE album is on number 3 out of 200 songs from different artist. Considering on what happened on AMA I think the FYE album sales is very good otherwise it had not reached number 3. Don't get me wrong, I love Adam's song no matter what kind, but songs like these on Take One is really sweet. Well, I just have to buy 2 album now.
