Got it used- sure appreciate the kindred comments William!

    Banjoistically yours,

    Jon Eric

  • i dont know what it is but you make me nervous when i watch your videos lol good playing by the way you do some of the best banjo songs on youtube the other ones are not as complete as your versions. keep goin!

  • playing like that is defo my goal in life :-) you are top draw :-)

  • What magical spell did u use to get so good, or was it just amazing talent with endless hours of work, dedication and love for music? :o) Awesome tiger!

  • @kaderoder

That was SO kind of you to say. I sure love to play : )

But it took many years of playing VERY slow with a metronome

and building up until the picking

    is VERY clean and precise.

  • hmm. i thought i learnd this song today...i guese not lmao

  • not only are you an incredible picker, but you get such obvious joy out of playing. truly inspiring!

  • Love the Reno part at the end of the a part. Hot Pickin.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Jon, the ease in which you play and how great the sound is really shows what a great talent you have. Thanks for sharing with us.

  • My God, you are awesome! I love the banjo, I wish I could play half as good as you do!

  • Real cool daddy.

  • Love your ideas on this song!

  • do you use plastic pics or metall?

  • I use a plastic thumb pick and metal for the index and middle fingers.

    Banjoistically yours,

    Jon Eric

  • god bless you brother

& the great side of the U.S.A.

  • Yeah I know what you mean-

How can you NOT smile and play the banjo?

    ~JE

  • Omg i feel the exact same way. Its alot different if you hear really good music in person though. I'm really jealous because while im getting my stuff, my banjo teacher checks the tuning and fiddles around a bit, and even that makes me smile for no reason. Its such a happy intrusment.

  • @JonEricMusic I have trouble smiling while I play, but I am alway smiling inside. Maybe I am sad for causing the good instrument pain!

  • 0:26 cheesiest smile ever bro but ur good, from england aswell mate - no banjos down here

  • really good.

would have liked to have heard the ending though.
