Yeah cuz we sure wouldn't want government to not ba able to spend more money then they will ever take in. I don't care who proposed it. Stop spending us further and further into a bottomless pit of debt!

Agreed - we are in way too much debt right now; we should spend only the money we have, and not have out of control taxes and spending like we do now. The idea of this amendment is interesting, if we can get the details right, even if the timing of its proposal is political in nature.

It's pure politics, and his executive order eliminating GMAC, is proof that he is a rat. Interesting that the elimination comes with the current "health care" "debate" going on. Now many more will want the government to own YOUR HEALTH at a federal level. Very convenient timing. Either side of "health care" will end up screwing us all out of more money. You can bet on it.
